Dan's POV:

Walking along the dark narrow streets of Dallas, is never fun. The fog will never lift. This is an endless rain. God is crying.

What do I do? I firstly need to find the main necessities of life. Which means: food, water, and shelter.

Still walking, my breath is white like a rabbits fur, and my feet are blistering up. My head feels heavy, and I fall.

Falling into an endless hole, until I wake up. There is a crisp smell in the air and my face feels warm. I open my eyes to see a large dog licking the smudges off of my face.

I giggle. I suddenly felt at home again, for the first time since my girlfriend kicked me out. But wait.

/Where am I?/ I thought.

This is no place familiar. I start to panic, until I hear a somewhat familiar voice. Soft like an angel, yet subtle, where had I heard it before? I hear footsteps lightly tip tapping against the wooden floors. Or was that the rain? But either way, the voice started coming closer.

I was aghast when I saw this beautiful man come out and smile sweetly. I was never into men really, but man, my heart was having a freak attack. I still remember the touch of his warm, tender hands from when he picked me up. I was flustered.

"I have a shower prepared for you. Please go ahead." He whispered, his face now just inches away from mine.

"I-My-" My mind went utterly blank. I just kinda sat there for a second and then nodded.

He led me towards the bathroom and said "When you are finished, I left a change of clothes on the sink area. And by the way. I know we just met, but I picked you up because I felt something was wrong, and so now, I have decided that you can feel free to make this place your new home, or at least stay as long as you please!"

"Thank you! Thank you very much! I am so grateful to have met such a kind stranger as yourself!" He nodded, but seemed a bit forlorn when I mentioned the word stranger, I carried on.

When I hurried out of the shower smelling something delicious, I look for the clothes he had put out for me, but they were nowhere to be found.

"Umm... Mister? Do you happen to know what happened to the clothes that were on the sink?" I yelled into the next room.

"Umm... I apologize greatly, but I must've forgotten to put them there. I will leave them outside of the bathroom door."

"Okay!" I cracked open the door to hear a sobbing man.

'That couldn't be him.' I thought. 'He is always too happy to be crying.' I slipped on my clothes, and found 'that man' sobbing on the couch, where I once was laying.

"Umm... Are you... Okay..." I mumbled embarrassed and shy.

"Do... Do you really NOT remember me,Dan?" How did he know my name. My eyes widened. My breathing stopped for a second. I didn't want to sound like a giant jerk to this nice gentleman, but I slowly gathered up the courage to say, "I'm sorry... I do no-"

"it's fine..."

He quickly replied hiding his face in her long bangs. She obviously was not okay. I hate people that do this. I grabbed him tightly by the wrist and looked clear into his eyes and asked, "Who are you to me..?"
