Chapter 1

Storm's pov

I yawned and stretched as the sound of birds were heard,I stood and left my box to find food,Wonder what I'll find today

I was watching humans walk there pets,Lucky,I turned to go back to my box when a hotdog dropped in front of me,I looked up to see the butcher,I grabbed the hotdog and ate it,he placed more food down and left me to eat

Once I was done I walked back to my box and laid down

"Not much to do huh?" I hear my friend cloud say,I smile at him

"Nope,just the same old things"I say and lay my head down on the pillow in the box,cloud yawns and then falls asleep,I yawn but the a car pulls in front that alleyway,I stand and nudge cloud,he stands and hides behind me,A guy walks to use and drops food,I whine,but go up and start eating,cloud follows then does the same,Then the guy grabs up and puts us in the back and drives

I watch as people walk in and out with new pets,Some have kids or already have pets that want friends,Some have walked to me but I stayed in my cage

"Storm,I'm scared we wont go to the same home"

"Don't worry,If we dont we can almost meet in that alleyway"

"Okay"

The bell rings and I look,A girl with a red shirt and striped pants,followed by a dog and cat,I back into the cage and lay down,However the dog walks to me"I like the birth mark"he says standing so he can talk to me,I looked at my storm birthmark"Thanks?"I say,I never really understood were it came from,He notice and shows me his,Which is a bolt"Cool"I say,he smiles,I hear cloud laugh and look,The cat is sitting next to his cage,I smile,then I'm picked up,I whimper and try to jump but the girl holds me"Hey there",i whine,cloud whimpers and glares,I then fell a hand brush behind my ear,It felt so...calming,I push into the hand and wag my tail

I yawned and woke up,How did I fall asleep,I was on a bed in a room,I stood and yawned again then stretched,I go to the edge but back up,That's to high,I whine and cloud walks in"You can jump down you know"He says,look byt whine and back away,He sighs and mews loudly then the girl walks in and picks me up and places me on the floor and walks out"Cmon,You need to meet everyone"He says,I follow him out the room and to the others,I whine and hide by the couch,He sighs again

"You can trust them storm"he says and nuzzles me,I breathe and we walk out and to the others

After meeting everyone

I was talking to bolt when penny picked me up and petted me,I nuzzled into her,she smiles then walks out and places me down and hooks a leash,I sniff it till she starts walking

I run inside and she giggles and closes the door,I bark and get into a play position,She then tosses my new toy and I grab it and start playing with it,it was kinda like mr carrot,But mine is a bone,I bone,I shook it and laid down,,More squeaking is heard,And it is bolt playing with mr carrot,I continued playing with my bone
