The Days of Peace

The view of Minas Tirith was a breathtaking sight thousands of men and women stood crowded in the pale stone courtyard to have a glance at the next king. There, in front of everyone Gandalf place the crown on Aragorn's head, Aragorn's breathed in has he stood on the stairs in front of the great hall.

Gandalf smiled with grace, presenting his beloved friend and king, "Now come the days of the king." He smiles down at Aragorn, and says softly, "May they be blessed."

Before facing the cheering crowd, Aragorn pauses to catch his breath before taking on the mantle of his duty and destiny. Aragorn spoke with peace and grace, "This day does not belong to one man but to all. Let us together rebuild this world, that we may share in the days of peace."

The crowd cheers and applauds from that strong words Aragorn place on their minds. White flower petals from the White Tree began to fall. One by one slowly falling down like the leaves of autumn and the winter snow. All relished in his glory, everyone smiled and look at each other lovingly as they applaud the king.

Standing tall and proud, King Elessar began to sing in Quenya the song which, long years before his forefather, Elendil, had sung as his feet first touched the lands of Middle-earth. It was a prayer, a moment of pure peace since the the old times.

"Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien. Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar tenn' Ambar-metta." (Out of the Great Sea to Middle-earth I am come. In this place will I abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.)

Aragorn walked down the petal covered aisle. The sound of smiling and cheering filled Aragorn's ears. He walks past Éowyn, Faramir, and Éomer, who smile and bow/curtsy to him. A group of Elves came up to Aragorn, led by Legolas and Tauriel. The three reach each other and place a hand on the other's shoulders

Aragorn smiled as he saw his two friends hands intertwined. "Hannon le." (Thank you.)

Legolas and Tauriel both held back a small smile as they both stepped aside. Behind him stands Elrond. A white banner with The White Tree is seen, and holding the banner was she, Arwen. She walked up and curtsies to the king. Aragorn looked at her in disbelief and deep love as he caresses her face. Aragorn and Arwen embrace and kiss each other. The crowd again applauds. Arwen laughs joyfully and Elrond looks on smiling.

Aragorn and Arwen walk hand in hand through the crowd. Before they came  before the four Hobbits, who bow to the king and queen.

Aragorn raised his hand to the Hobbits and smiled , "My friends. You bow to no one."

Aragorn kneels before them, and everyone in the courtyard does so as well. The Hobbits look about them, overwhelmed by this great honor. Tauriel smiled to the ground knowing that she owed everything to these four little hobbits who changed this big world.

Tauriel sat at the edge of the great city and faced the vibrant sky, it was clear. There was no smoke nor sound. She smiled at the sound of nothing. Legolas watched from the back, he smiled at the sight he was seeing, he walked up and sat down next to her. "Do you hear that?" Tauriel asked. Legolas looked at her then the bright sky, squinting, "I hear nothing." He answered confused. She smiled, "exactly." She sighed, there is nothing. He took her hand and asked, "what now, what shall we do now?" She took a second to think about it, "let's go back." She smiled, "let's go back and ride through the ever lasting path of Mirkwood, walk through the halls of Erebor...and more" Legolas smiled. The peaceful silence was interrupted, "You two rascals didn't think you were leaving with out me! Well what are we waiting for!" Gimil smiled and marched off. Legolas and Tauriel let out a breathless laugh.

Tauriel stoked her horse and Legolas and Gimil pack for the journey. She turned around a saw Aragon and Arwen. Aragon smiled, " please come again, my fellowship." They all smiled and the three road off, riding deeper into Middle Earth. Aragon stood and gazed upon the colour washed sky and his three truest friends. He gave a long sigh and smile, "till our next meeting.."
