"Take this child to the cold palace."  The emperor said while pointing at cale

"Very well, Your Majesty."  Waiter said

“And as for the baby, take her to the ruby ​​palace” the emperor said while pointing at atanasia next to cale.

After Claude gave the order he immediately left. The servants immediately breathed a sigh of relief after the emperor left because of his terrifying aura. However, Cale just looked at Claude calmly because she was used to it in her previous world.

'Emperor bastard who has no heart for children. I will definitely take all your treasures in the palace' thought Cale with a sly smile.

The maids who saw it only thought that Cale was a strange baby because she never cried and often made strange faces.

'Hmm... but what do you mean by the child of cursed?!  And the cold palace...? From the maid's face, it doesn't look like a good place.'  thought Cale.

'Aigoo, why is my life full of misfortune' Cale thought.

Cale was immediately transferred to the cold palace in a horse carriage because the place was very far from the main palace.  Cale was accompanied by the 3 maids who were tasked with taking care of her.

During the trip, the 3 maids assigned to take care of her were very scared because of the many bad rumors from the palace. The servants thought that they were unlucky to have to take care of a cursed child.

"Damn it, why do we have to take care of this cursed child and work in that cursed palace." Molly said with a look full of hatred towards Cale.

The maids could only tremble in fear with hateful gazes at Cale.

After a while, they arrived at the cold palace. After they got off the horse carriage, the maid just stood stiffly with a pale face. Seeing the maid's attitude, Cale who was being carried by one of the maids turned to the direction the maid was looking at.

Many crows flew and the trees died because all the plants planted in this palace could not live.  The palace had a dark black color, the buildings were small, old and frail. And there was a dark aura around the palace.

Cale who saw the palace was very surprised.

'Why is dead mana here?!!'

'Hmm... Cold palace, dead mana, and cursed child looks like all of this isn't just a coincidence.'  thought Cale.

Cale wasn't afraid of the cold palace because she had experienced more terrifying things in his previous life.  She even liked her palace because it reminded her of the dark forest. She felt there was something important in this palace.

To be honest, Cale was more than happy with the situation. There were many bad rumors about her, her palace, and the emperor's banishment. With this, no one would enter this palace and approach it. Therefore, she will not be involved with the original story.

'Looks like luck is still on my side' Cale thought with a smile.

After a while the maids stood frozen, they gathered their courage and entered the palace. Inside is very quiet, dark, dirty, and many floors are damaged because they have never been cared for. After the servants looked around the room, they were calmer because inside the palace was just an ordinary room, there were no ghost sightings. They immediately cleaned and used the best room for themselves. Whereas Cale was only placed in the very corner of the small room alone and was only given milk for her food.

Cale could only furrow her brows at the attitude of the maids. After drinking the milk, she used her time to check her ancient powers.

However, she could not feel its ancient power. She could feel within her body that there was another power different from the ancient power. Cale guessed it was mana. Because in this novel there is magic. 

Cale started making plans for her life here. She decided to survive here and gather information about the outside world for now since her body was still a newborn.

Cale suddenly started to remember her children and family in her previous life. Cale didn't want to admit but she missed them and regretted not being able to keep her promise. After thinking for too long, she started to get sleepy because of her baby body.

"L... Cal... Cale"

Suddenly a voice called out to her.  But Cale still closed her eyes wanting to continue her sleep.

“Cale Henituse?!”

'Damn it! who disturbs my sleep

Cale immediately opened her eyes, yet she could only see the darkness that surrounded her. However, Cale knew of this familiar presence.
