Hiero had no idea.

He had no idea that Alethea, the woman he met the day of Keira's party.

He trusts his cousin with managing the models and the whole agency, but all of a sudden he has this urge to work as the actual co-owner of the agency. Well, he does work for the agency, he helps by scouting newest models and helping them with their career.

Perhaps, a temporary manager.

"Alethea... Vargas?"

"Oo nga, bakit? Kilala mo ba siya?"

"N-No. I... just don't know who she is." Hiero lied.

He knew her. He tried to find her in Instagram, Twitter, and even Facebook. He's never worked with her before and he doesn't even know if she's even a model.

Turns out she is. She is a model.

"Kakasimula lang niya, mga ilang buwan... but she got pregnant and now she's on a break but she'll work with us again." Silas explained.

Pregnant.

It was true?

She's actually pregnant?

"Pregnant?" Hiero repeated under his breath while flipping through the pages of a random magazine that features Alethea as a model in one of the sections.

God, she is lovely.

Alethea sported a tight brown tank top with pants unzipped and her hand holding the hem of the same pants, her eyes staring right through his soul that almost... almost made him gasp.

He remembered her smile that night, she had such kind eyes and bright smile, and the words that somewhat brought comfort and warmth to him, which was unusual.

It was a compliment for sure, but that compliment was too good.

Good lover.

She doesn't know his name and yet she called him a good lover.

Hiero believes that no matter how kind a person is, they are not perfect. There is a limit to someone's kindness, it is tested through people, experiences, rough times, and more.

He knew that well enough as a member of an industry that never fails to show how greedy someone is. No matter how much money, how much powers—one just ends up wanting more until they are at the top.
