(AN wow every time I update I get another hundred reads, I'm guessing my chapters are just gonna have to stay long. I'm really happy we reached over 500 reads!)

Marnie's POV

Last I checked I had just arrived at the poke mart Gloria was at, but now I'm in our apartment lying on our bed. I woke up with a terrible headache and morpeko cuddling me. I realised I wasn't in my own clothes I was in Gloria's, specifically her jammies. Everything that had happened in the past few days was hazy, all I remember was making it to the pokemart and meeting Gloria there. I have no idea if we talked or if anything happened at all. Ugh I can't even be bothered to get up and check the time, i think I'll just rest my head for a bit.

(AN Sorry I changed pov it's because I started in the wrong one and couldn't be bothered to change it lol)

Unkown POV

I swear everyday the treatment gets worse, it's like we're stray dogs. That's how they treat us, yeah, that's it. I've been planning to get outta here since I got put in, I accept it's my fault and I've recovered now, so why do they keep me here. Maybe it's to torment me, maybe it's to 'protect everyone from me'. I won't know till I escape, so that's just what I'll do. Tonight's the night. They will regret keeping me here.

Gloria's POV

She's been out for almost 3 days now, and Hop and Sonia are starting to get worried. Apparently Sonia made the executive decision to not only drug her but use more than one dose, like an idiot. I'm just glad that Chairman Leon had Raihan by his side so he didn't just simp overt  Sonia and actually made it so she had to request materials like the rest of us. No more physco-bitch plans for her, at least not without me knowing about them. Leon also made it so she couldn't visit gyms for 'research' without a license which is good because now she won't be fucking Nessa every day and actually be getting research done.

I've been looking after her since, so it obviously came as a surprise when she suddenly woke up, looked around for a second with drool still running down the side of her face. I immediately put down the dishes I was doing and tried to shake Marnie awake. She, groaned in her sleep and turned onto her side. She, was moving around, tossing and turning as if she was stuck in some nightmare. I couldn't bare to see her like this, not anymore. I tired shaking her, calling out her name continuously. I felt Inteleon come up from behind me, and hugging me. He always knew when people were saddened, I don't know how but right now all I want to do was drag Marnie out of the pit she was thrown in. He turned me around and starting wiping tears from my face, I didn't even know I was crying. The sofa was damp with tears, some mine some Marnie's. Her face was writhing with anguish and pain, I just wish I could help her. It's like stretching, reaching for something so close to you but still out of your grasp.

Inteleon picked Morpeko up gently out of Marnie and put me in his place instead, then he went back out to the room where all the pokeballs were kept. He probably went to go calm Morpeko down, 7 hours of intensive Marnie cuddles would do that to a pokemon. I turned towards her and put her hands in mine. I grasped them tightly hoping that it would wake her. But it was no hope. She had been on the couch for almost four days now if she doesn't wake up soon, I might have to turn to Piers. Marnie will hate me for it, but he knows this kinda stuff. It was all he knew for most of his life. I grab my rotom phone and start dialling his number.

Unknown POV

I just made it over the gate, the Lycanroc may be on my heels but there's nothing for it. I grab an energy root from my back pocket and and throw it into the air, calling out for Obstagoon. He busts out of the thick foliage and catches it. Letting put a guttural cry he defeats the Lycanroc.

"Good boy, you still got it. I've missed you so much so, hows about you take us to Motostoke."

A ring comes from my pocket, Gloria's name visible from the top.

"Change of plan buddy, seems like we're going to Spikemuth. A family reunion is long overdue, and it seems as if there's a new memeber."

(Sorry for it being kinda short, just didn't have the inspiration to write more, but I'll try making the next one longer!)

(Thanks for reading so far, it means so much!)
