Holly tried to catch her breath up in the air. She was laughing and screaming. Tears came out of her eyes. Adrenaline rushed through her body. The cool wind made the ride even more unbearable. She never laughed so hard in her life. The guy who was sitting next to her screamed and laughed too. He said something in Dutch that Holly could not comprehend. They both screamed and laughed like they were the only people in the world.
The swing made creaking noise for each swing that it made. They could look at the beautiful scenery of Amsterdam from their seat. She looked down once and she could see her height from the ground. She screamed again. She has a fear of height as is her companion. Both made an exaggerated reaction compared to the others.
Holly is so grateful that she found him. At least they get to do something crazy together in Amsterdam even for a little bit. It helps take her mind off of Brian. She just wanted to be free from that for once.
And for once, she felt completely free.

Holly looked at Luuk for awhile before she took off her seatbelt. They walked away from the famous A'dam Lookout swing. It is hard to miss the bright red color of the swing from afar. They laughed all the way to the nearest cafe to calm themselves down. They sat on the coffee shop for awhile and had a really nice conversation - an exchanged of stories between two completely different people with two completely different background. Luuk was her Airbnb host.
It was her last day in Amsterdam when fate brought them together to enjoy her last day in the country. Luuk has the most beautiful pair of blue eyes and golden blonde hair. They met on the second day of Holly's stay in Amsterdam when they accidentally met at the hallway. She was soaking wet because of the autumnal rain. She was shivering and she couldn't open the door to the apartment.
Luuk, who, came up to his apartment noticed Holly's struggle. He immediately came to Holly's rescue and introduced himself as the airbnb host. The coldness that was attacking her body at that moment prevent Holly to speak further. She simply nodded and handed him the key without thinking what may happened. Luuk opened the door and let her enter the apartment. They part ways and Holly went straight to have a hot shower.
She felt that if she had to stay in the hallway any longer, she might froze to death in front of the door and became a headline on the newspaper the next morning. She could imagine the headline read 'Island girl froze to death because of the autumn rain'. That night she sat in the cozy studio apartment with a cup of hot chocolate in hand. She texted the number of the airbnb host and asked if he was the one that she met in the hallway.
Luuk replied her text and they didn't stop texting until late at night.
