Maximiliano bursted into an obstreperous laughter and his friends who were sitting with him at the stream joined him in laughing and after a while, the laughter suddenly seized. The boy whom they were all making fun of, felt mortified and went on his knees, bowing his head to the ground.
Maximiliano, the youngest amongst all of them, stood up and went to meet the despondent boy, Fernando, whose football had vanished as he had said, which made all of them burst into an uncontrollable laughter.
"What again did you say about that ball?" Maximiliano asked the boy mockingly, trying not to laugh again as no one regard what Fernando said as true. Fernando knew they wanted to ridicule him once again so he kept mute, bowing his head to the ground.
Sebastian, the oldest amongst all of the kids, stood from where he was sitting to solace the sad boy.
"Fernando, we are very sorry for not taking your words genuine, but tell me, how did you say the ball disappear." He tried stifling a laughter as he stood beside Fernando, he didn't want to sound unreal to him.
Fernando wanted to give a cold shoulder to the question and leave from there, but he surmised that if he try to elucidate what happened compendiously, they might be able to get him his football."Sebastian, promise me you will get me my football if I tell you how the ball disappeared."
"Alright Fernando, we promise to get you the football." Sebastian and his friends chorused.
"Sebastian, while I was playing football in the yard." Fernando began to explain, pointing at the yard close to the stream they were, though they couldn't see the yard he was pointing at from where they were sitting and they did not bother to check. "I heeled it and it gyrated over, but it halted on a yellow flower, more like a dandelion but not and the ball disappeared. Immediately it came in contact with a yellow flower, it disappeared and I couldn't find it again." Fernando proceeded.
For a while after he was done with his narration, the seven friends kept mute, staring at him with scepticism, then Axel, a boy with a short brown hair, stood up, rubbing his palm and clearing his throat."Fernando, I know you love playing your football a lot, but why would you say the ball disappeared in an obscure way? I am certain you didn't look for it carefully enough. Guys, lets go in there and get him his foot ball." Axel said with certainty.
"Alright!" They chorused and stood, running towards the yard.
Getting to the yard, they all started to look for the football. They searched every nook and cranny of the yard but they couldn't find anything like football.
"Lo encontré!" Maximiliano shouted from a corner, which meant «I found it » He raised up a round green object and walked to Fernando. "Is this not your ball?"
"No! This is not a football, it is a leave ball." Fernando yelled pessimistically.
"Didn't you say your ball halted on a flower before it disappeared?" Agustin asked, trying to be investigative.
"Yes! Immediately the ball touched the flower, it disappeared." Fernando replied sharply.
"Then, where's the flower?" Sebastian quized.
"It's over there!" Fernando pointed at the yellow flower, laying on the ground in the yard.
"That one? How can this flower make a ball disappear? That sounds obscure anyways." Rodrigo said as he walked towards the yellow flower laying down there at one side of the yard. He went on his hunkers and picked up the flower to observe it carefully, but immediately he touched the flower, the flower sucked him in.
What?! They were all taken aback when they saw that Rodrigo disappeared after touching the flower and began to move backwards in fear. Their heart began to pound very heavily in their chest. Their heads were spinning in confusion.
