Confused, lost, searching for direction
Don't know what is right or wrong
To follow the heart's desire
For temporary bliss
.. or perhaps lifetime agony
Shackled by other's thoughts
For they couldn't exercise
Their "free will".
Are you ready to bear the consequences,
The sacrifice of that which is dear to you?
Will you regret not choosing the other path?
Let life happen or make efforts to steer the direction
Is it worth it? The hardships, the struggles..
Will it bring me closer to the truth?
Do I even want to know the truth?
Is it scary? Will people even believe me?
This world is a beautiful lie
These feelings just a fleeting passerby
I think and think and think
everything has a justification.
Can she get that innocence back?
Her heart seems tainted.
Was it really her choice? Well some of it..
She really didn't know any better.
But even if she knew would she have chosen the other way?
