CHAPTER 22

" JIN " Jungkook shouted at top of his lungs .

But the man was already near Jin so Jungkook act at the moment and jumped in front of the man.

This resulted in the dragger being stabbed inside Jungkook's belly which resulted in him vomiting blood.

" JUNGKOOK " Jin screamed in terror when he saw his mate being stabbed mercilessly.

His eyes became blood shot in anger when he saw the man who was backing away due to fear.

" YOU HAVE INVITED YOUR DEATH. " Jin roared at him

" No, your majesty, please , forgive me, I am sorry. " The man begged.

But Jin showed no mercy as he burnt the man alive into ashes.

Jin finally lost his control. His anger and agony reached so high that his body was now only looking for a kill.

His beast mode was now activated and the only thing in his mind was to kill people, innocent or not the beast within him doesn't cares.

But fortunately Jungkook his mate was there and as soon as Jin heard his voice the beast within him disappeared immediately.

" Ji-n " Jungkook whimpered in pain, his whole belly was bleeding badly with the dragger still present inside it .

" Jungkook. " Jin ran towards Jungkook who was laying on the ground .
" Hang in there, baby, I am so sorry, please just hang in there , don't close your eyes. " Jin said as he carried Jungkook in bridal style.

" Ji-n, I - am- sorr-y " Jungkook said as he tried hard to speak the words. He was slowly starting to get unconscious.

" No , baby what are you sorry for , please just don't close your eyes , we will reach the medical centre soon. " Jin said but it was too late as Jungkook already closed his eyes.

" NO, JUNGKOOK. " Jin shouted, but he realised it's not time for him to cry, he has to save his mate, he calm himself down as he teleported Jungkook and himself to the nearest medical centre available in the area.

Forgetting about the vampire prince Shiwoon who injured badly but still alive.

Jin was pacing outside the emergency OT room continuously. Distress was completely showing on his face. From the inside he was on full panic mode.

Jin's parents , Jungkook's mom, his friends all were present there.

When Jin reached the medical centre, the doctors saw how critical Jungkook's condition was and immediately admitted him to the emergency OT for the surgery.

Jin was waiting outside when he got a call from his dad asking whether he find Jungkook or not and that's when he informed them about the whole situation resulting the whole family to come at the medical centre.

Mrs. Jeon was crying , feeling guilty for her kid. Mrs. Kim was consoling her.

Jin 's friend were all sitting with their finger crossed praying for Jungkook.

Except Seo-ah. Well it didn't affected her  at all. She was just staying closed to Jin with the excuse of consoling him.

Soon the red light outside the room went off indicating that the operation was completed.

The doctor came outside when expressionless face. Jin along with Mrs. Jeon rushed towards him.

" Dr, he is alright no, he is doing completely fine right. " Jin asked. His heartbeat was at max.

Doctor smiled slightly as he informed
" He is completely safe now.   The dragger was not a normal one, it was poisoned and it almost reached his heart , if he was even admitted a second late, he would have died.

And I must say he is really a brave kid, we didn't had any anesthesiologist available today , so he had to endure all the pain while we performed the surgery. He didn't show any sign of pain on his face. He lost so much of his blood but still he fought for his life and won the battle.

He is resting inside. His dressing is completed too. And if you want you can meet him but only one person is allowed to meet. Now excuse me. "

Both Jin and Mrs. Jeon sighed in relief.

" Thank you so much doctor, that's my boy in there, he is indeed the brave one. " Jin said.

The doctor nodded and took his leave.

Jin soon informed his friends and family members and all of them were at ease now.

" I think I should go and meet him, he will be  needing me. " Mrs. Jeon said.

All of them nodded in agreement. But soon a staff came out of the room and said.

" Who is Jin here? " She asked.

Jin came forward and said
" I am Jin, why is there any issue?"

" The patient inside has requested for you to meet him, so go soon. " She informed.

" Me?? Are you sure " Jin asked pointing at himself.

" Yes. " She informed.

Mrs. Jeon placed a hand on Jin's shoulder and signalled him to go inside.

Jin went inside and was met with a Jungkook was laying on the bed , looking so weak yet beautiful.

Jungkook saw Jin coming inside the room and panicked because though he called him he didn't know what he wanted  to say. He just wanted to stay near the older.

For a moment both of them stayed silent looking anywhere expect at each other. An awkward silence settled in between them.

But this time surprisingly Jungkook decided to take the lead as he called Jin towards himself.

" Jin, come here please, lay down beside me. " Jungkook pleaded as a soft pinkish blush adorned his face.

Jin was caught off guard due to the request. His eyes widen in shock. Did he just heard right?

" Are you sure, didn't the man stabbed you in belly and not in your head, why are you acting so different suddenly. " Jin asked in total confusion .

" Shut up and come here before I get more embarrassed and change my mind." Jungkook said .

" Yea, that's the Jungkook I know . " Jin said as he went towards Jungkook.

Jungkook rolled his eyes playfully but he scooted more towards the left side to give place to Jin.

Jin layed down slowly and carefully so that he doesn't touch the injury accidentally.

But as soon as he layed down, Jungkook moved closer to him and immediately buried his face in Jin's chest and hugged him completely.

Jin yet again was shocked at the sudden affectionate hug but soon relaxed. He buried his hand in Jungkook's hairs and slowly started messaging the scalp.

Jin kissed on the top of Jungkook's head when he heard the slow breaths of younger indicating that he is fast asleep.

Soon exhaustion hit him too and he also dozed off in his dreamland.

This is how both the mates slept together for the first time in each other's arms simply gaining comfort from each other's presence.
