(I'm back and more or less worse. My twitter is @TricksayRicksay, go there if you want more of me)
"I still don't understand why we're doing this." You said, looking out the window of your friend's car.
"It's for the spooky season," Frank said. "Plus, we've been cooped up in our houses for too long, we need to get out and do something fun." Frank's definition of "fun" was very different from yours. While you preferred to (Insert hobby you like to do here.), Frank liked to be a delinquent, and so did your 4 other friends, Terry, Alex, Mae and Wendy. Honestly, you're surprised you've all gotten along well for the past 4 years, each of you saw each other as family.
You kept looking out the window, looking at the passing trees and the occasional deer or other animal. You really want to go back home, maybe curl up in a blanket and watch cartoons, or maybe continue writing that fanfic you've kept in your draf-
"Hey, Hey!"
Your train of thought was interrupted by Frank snapping his fingers in your face, making you jump in your seat. "Save your bewildered looks for later, we're here!" You sighed and grabbed your phone, and walked out of Frank's car.
You immediately throw your hands up when you see the exact location you and your friends are going ghost-hunting in. A graveyard. A giant one at that. "Nope." You turned away before bumping into Mae. "Too late numbnuts, our awesome plan is already in motion!" Mae said as she turned you around, making you face the graveyard again.
"The very home of spirits...perfect..." Wendy said, grabbing a spirit box and quickly running to Frank's side. You and Mae followed. You were hoping you could take the keys of the car out of Frank's pocket, but, as Mae said "our awesome plan is already in motion."
As the 6 of you wander into the graveyard, fog began to slowly rise from the ground, ensnaring your (and specifically your) fate. After what felt like hours looking at stone memorials and seemingly cursed mausoleums, Frank stops in the middle of the graveyard.
"Alright, This should be perfect. (Y/N), you got everything, right?"
"The highly expensive equipment that I wasted my money on? Yeah, it's in here." You say, handing over your backpack to Frank. "I already told you, I'll pay ya back, calm down." He places it on the ground and searches through it. "Plus, you won't regret buying this stuff soon." he says, pulling out a dowsing rod and some candles. "I'm already regretting it right now." You say as you sat on the ground next to everyone.
"(Y/N), there's no need to be frightened. Spirits love to talk to the living, it makes them feel alive again." Wendy responds, already lighting the candles while Mae completed the inside of the pentagram. "I'm not scared," you say "I just hate that I wasted 50 bucks on something that will only be used on something I hate doing." You reach inside your backpack , grabbing and putting on your jacket to keep the wind from biting at your flesh.
"Alright, It's done." Mae says placing her hands on her hips. In front of the 6 of you is a giant pentagram drawn into the ground. Mae may or may not have overdone it, but you don't care at this point. Frank eagerly stands up, grabbing a book and standing on one of the points on the pentagram. Wendy, Mae, Alex and Terry stands on a point too, leaving the middle of the pentagram open.
"Alright, lets summon the undead!" Frank says turning the pages of a journal. "(Y/N), Set up the camera, we're gonna be famous for this!"
You press play on the camera, as your friends except for Frank bow in prayer. Frank starts to read aloud,
"Meus Vita, Rege, pro nefario coepto, Red, blue, white, blue, green, brown, cyan, magenta, yellow, black...Ambition, courage, pride, prayers, freedom, nourishment, despair, atonement, chaos...Open the veil, Voices from beyond, believe in all that we are, and let the corruption seep up from the soil...Let the gates to the abyss open on this very night!"
