Ruchika Khanna

'ok, is everything settled?' I said as me and my team just come back from interrogation room

'yes mam' DD my assistant said

'do I have any more work left?' I asked as I sat on my chair

'no mam your today schedule is done' DD informed

'ok so it's already late you should head out' I said

'ok mam goodnight mam' DD said

I just nodded

'tell Ramesh to ready my car in 5 minutes I am coming'

'yes mam'

He left and I also grabbed my things and headed towards my car it's already 12:30AM. I am extremely late today my daughter must be asleep by this time.

As I walked out of my office building my driver is waiting for me to take home. I sat on the backseat and nodded at driver to start journey.

I reached home at 12:45AM it's only 15 min. ride to home from my office and vice-versa.

As I entered inside I was welcomed by my daughter crying. I instantly droped my bag and made my way towards her room. She is 11 months old.

I reached her room and took her in my arms and coo her to stop her from crying

'baby mumma is here stop crying'

'beta I was trying to make stop crying but she was just crying continuously for an hour' Anita her babysitter said

'why didn't you informed me before?' I said

'beta I tried calling you but your phone was off' she informed me

'we should take her to hospital' I said

I am extremely worried about her condition she never cried like that before.

'Aunty can you please grab my purse from lobby.'

'ofcourse beta'

I walked out of house and saw my driver was here till now.

'Ramesh, can you take us to hospital now' I asked him

'ofcourse mam'

I sat on backseat with Arya on my lap and on right side aunty with my purse.

We reached hospital within 30 min and in that time not even for a second Arya stopped crying. It's scaring me to death.

'is any doctor here for babies present here?' I asked receptionist

'yes mam, on 18 floor Dr. Ankit Mishra' she informed

'thank you'

We reached 18th floor and knocked his cabin door

'come in' a raspy voice said

I pushed door and saw a man probably in his mid 20's with black eyes, black hair and a fair colour of skin , sharp jawline and wearing comfortable clothes.
