The bustling streets, the massive structures, the life. New York City was an always busy, always going location that you had been in love with since you were a child. You could only dream of being a part of the public, you wanted to be in the eye of it all. You gushed to your parents as a young child that you would become a superstar and live the luxuries that the state had to offer. You remembered watching countless TV shows, movies, all that were based around New York and its undeniably gorgeous atmosphere.

As you entered your teenage years and high school rolled around, you were voted by your graduating class to become a highly famous model. And you were quite the ambitious doll. You applied to the top-rated, high-class, best modeling college in the world, right here in New York City. Gaining your education, you learned what it took to walk the walk and pretty soon, talk the talk. Your socials favored millions of individuals who were utterly obsessed with you.

You had walked the runways during New York Fashion Week, countless Victoria's Secret shows, not to mention fashion shows in Paris. Your face and body were on the covers of magazines worldwide. At only the brink of twenty-seven, your fame was only rising to maximum heights. You wanted more. You craved more.

The day started off on a weird note, however. You received a call from none other than Travis Wilhelm, your PR relations go-to. He had worked alongside you for the majority of both of your careers.

"What's going on, Travvie?" You said into your phone as you poured yourself some morning tea, gazing out at the sky, easily seen from your penthouse.

"I just received a phone call that could change your life. Can you meet me downtown in forty-five minutes?"

Your eyebrows arched. You snuggled yourself further into the silk bathrobe you donned, hesitant about the way Travis was talking. You always adored hearing his ideas, but something about the sound of his voice makes you highly skeptical.

"Tell me what it is now." Demanding an answer, you sipped the herbal tea, the awakening of your senses promptly stirred.

"Please? You know I'd never steer you wrong."

Sighing, you agreed and hung up your phone. Gazing down at your freshly manicured nails which exhibited a gorgeous ruby red, you rolled your eyes and went into your walk-in closet to obtain an outfit. Everything you wore, designer. It never mattered whether it was the pants, the dresses, the blouses, or the purses. You ensured to represent numerous high-quality brands.

You appeared downtown at Travis' office forty-five minutes later, just as he had asked. You walked inside, the press screaming to get a word from you, pictures being taken as you smiled gratefully.

As you walked through the revolving doors, you immediately crashed into somebody, a groan erupting from your mouth.

"Hey, watch where you're going next time." The man's voice said, immediately irking your nerves. You turned your eye up to see.
