"What's a soulmate?" "It's like a friend but more. It's the one person in the world who knows you better than anyone else..."
On October first 1989, 43 children were born this very night. Eight of them were adopted by a man named Sir Reginald Hargre...

Everyone was in the kitchen, watching Five and glancing at Colby, sensing a tense atmosphere between the two soulmates, which was understandable for it was nearly seventeen years since Five went missing. "What's the date?" Five asked as nonchalantly, as Colby remembered his young lover pretending to be. "24th" Billie answered with V, both looking at each other with small smiles. "Of what?" Five asked a bit more firmly and Colby was the one to answer, watching his mate prepare their favourite sandwich "March" Glancing at Colby, Five hid his longing look under an arrogant expression "Good" Everyone looked at each other confused, "Um, hello? Are you going to ignore us or are we going to talk about what happened?" Billie asked, standing next to her father, crossing her arms, just like him. "It's been seventeen years," Diego said and Five immediately answered "It's been a lot longer than that" Colby sighed, which brought everyone's attention to him after Five space jumped to get the ingredients and Luther said something about not missing Five's ability to teleport. "So, where have you been? Or whether, when?" Five looked at Colby, his heart wanting nothing more than to run to his lover and embrace him, but first, he needed to stop the apocalypse, otherwise, there would never be a happy ending for them. "The future, it's shit by the way" Both Klaus and Laura yelled "Called it!" And both chuckled at how in sync they were. "I should have listened to the old man and to Cole." He looked at the raven-haired man with such guilt, that Colby softly smiled at him, wanting Five to know that it was alright. Noah stood beside his father as well and his monotone voice echoed in the room "Jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a toss of the dice, isn't it?" Five rose a brow at the young man and Colby was quick to softly caress Noah's head. "Yes, Noah. It is. And Five knows it as well" he smiled at Five, who hid his pain at seeing Colby care for someone so much and smiled softly yet sadly. Turning to Klaus, Five pointed to the skirt the medium was wearing "Nice dress" Klaus smiled giddily, ready to reunite Colby and Five, as well as wanting to see the reaction on Five's face when Colby tells him who were the three people so similar to Colby. "Oh, well, Danke!" Laura smirked and hugged Noah from behind, feeling the need to give her brother some comfort, to which Noah smiled softly at her. Noah was not big on being touched, the exception was his family. And he felt when someone touched him, who it was. "Wait, how did you get back?" Question after question, answer after answer, but only Colbs and his children seemed to understand what Five was talking about "In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time." Of course, nobody but the four understood Five "That makes no sense!" Laura rolled her eyes "It would if you were smarter!" She sassed and Five smirked at her "You, I like. Whoever you are" Klaus snorted amused and Laura smirked "Laura Brock, triplet sister to these two, Billie and Noah." Still hugging her brother and she gestured towards Billie and the man she was embracing. With a slight but stiff nod, Allison asked "How long were you there?" Turning to her father, Billie hugged his side, while Colby wrapped his arm around her, while the other was hidden in his pocket "Forty-five years. Give or take." It didn't surprise the four Brocks, and Sam, who was silently observing and listening to what Colby was telling him telepathically. "So what are you saying? That you are 58?" Billie was rolling her eyes "No, you dumb fuck, his conscious is fifty-eigh, while his body is back to be sixteen!" Five was taken aback by how aggressive the girl was, Billie answered, yet he said nothing, nodding softly at her answer "I bet Dolores is laughing now, huh? Seeing as you messed up the equations, that she told you was wrong" Five looked surprised at Colby, but then he remembered that his beloved had telepathic powers. which was good, because he knew Colby will believe him and trust him. Well, he hoped that Colby will trust him, but seeing, as the man already knew about Dolores and probably saw the apocalypse from Five's kind, he had no doubt that Colby will believe him. He was more worried about the rest. Five sat down and looked at the newspaper, while he ate his sandwich "Hmm... Guess I missed the funeral." Confused, Luther asked, "How'd you know about that?" Now it was Sam who rolled his eyes "What part of the future do you not understand, huh?" Five continued "Heart failure?"He asked and both Luther and Diego answered "Yes/No" Humming again, he looked between the two and stood up, leaving the room "Nice to see nothing's changed" He silently begged for Colby to follow him, as they had many things to discuss. "Uh, that's it? That's all you have to say?" He shrugged, not looking back, for he knew that if he did, he wouldn't be able to leave the room "What else is there to say? The circle of life" As arrogantly as he could, he left. Sighing, Diego looked at his best friend with a soft expression "Go to him. You two should talk" Nodding, Colby sent everyone a small smile and left to search for Five, although he didn't have to look everywhere since he knew, Five would be in his room, changing into more suitable clothes.
