You are a purple Charoite, originally assigned to Pink Diamond as her original head of security, having been cracked in the final diamond attack on earth. Now it's been thousands of years, and you've suddenly woke up in a pool in a new age, and now...
The sound of running water flooded Charoite's ears, as well as the sound of what she thought was voices.
’Where.. am I?..’ she thought, realization suddenly hitting her as to why she heard water. She was floating in it.
Her eyes suddenly shot open as she sat up in an instance, gasping for air as she felt the water roll down her skin.
The sun was glaringly bright, making her squint.. where was she? Was this still earth? No. It couldn't be. The diamond attack should have wiped it out!
That's when the bellowing and booming voices became apparent, and it sounded too familiar..
”My diamond.” A Jasper spoke, her skin marbled with shades of green, like she was corrupted.
“Jasper.” Yellow diamond spoke, acknowledging the jasper who now saluted her.
Charoite stared in disbelief for a moment when she finally adjusted to the brightness. All three diamonds.. and a human?
”My diamonds!” She spoke, saluting the diamonds in front of her and sucking in a breath, “Charoite, facet-4F6G, cut-9XG. My diamonds, I apologize for my failure to successfully evacuate as I was instructed on time.”
“Woah!” A voice piped up in excitement, and along came the little human. “I haven't met a Charoite before!” it beamed.
“What- where- my division! The rubies, the other Charoite's.. where are they? Did you recover them? 6XM!” She called in a panic looking around the body of water.
”They..” the little human got quite all of a sudden
“They were shattered in the blast I assume.. very few of the Charoite's from Earth's colony remain. There are still many left on homeworld however.” Blue diamond chimed in, dipping down to look at the Charoite.
Charoite felt her lips contort into a frown. ”That is.. unfortunate..” she mumbled, looking at the other gems in the water.
“And pink diamond? We avenged her, yes?” The purple gem finally spoke after a minute
A sharp hiss came from yellow diamond. That couldn't mean anything good.
Soon enough, the diamonds and the crystal gems gathered together and began to explain everything. Which, for most, was shocking. Really shocking.
Every gem had their eyes on this 'steven.' Which really seemed to make him uncomfortable. Not that he shouldn't have been.. but now, they had no idea what they were supposed to do. They needed to be reassigned.. or something. Maybe be free?
Whatever the case, they were all supposed to go through this thing called little homeschool to educate them on the economic changes, then after that, it was all up to them..
