Frost village

The frost

I sighed as I felt the snow start to fall. It was already frost season again. It would always drop to -20 degrees every frost I needed to make sure the people of the village wouldn't freeze this frost. We already lost some people last frost.

I must have been too deep in thought as I didn't notice Alla screaming at me. I turned around to them grabbing me and dragging me inside their village hut. " What are you doing, you're going to get a cold out there wearing that!" Alla said. Looking at The shorts and off the shoulders too, what I was wearing wasn't the best for cold weather. " Here. Take this" Alla said, shoving a fur coat and a fluffy pair of pants into my hands. "Thanks" I said walking off to the bathroom to change into the clothes. I said thank you then quietly left the village hut to go back to my duties.

After giving wood to the villagers for their fireplaces I went back home. I was going to rest a bit before I went back out into the cold. My mother had come in to bring me some hot tea to warm me up after being out in the cold for so long. " by the way the weather is acting we might have a snowstorm tomorrow kamakia" Srita said looking out the window. The weather did look a bit bad. I decided to go make dinner for me and my mother. After father had died she had been so busy with being the village chief she never really had time to cook. I made sushi and rice balls for dinner. Rice balls were my favorite but mother never liked them. She did like sushi though so I made her some.

After we ate I secured the place for a snow storm. For now I was going to hope to get some rest and worry about the snow storm tomorrow. I sat in my bed reading for a bit before I fell asleep knowing what rude awakening I will get tomorrow.
