Chapter 13: Sacrifice

No One POV

Currently, all the mages who participated in the Grand Magic Games were helping defend Crocus against the robot army. It seemed like there was no end to them but the kept pushing no matter what. Meanwhile, the other three mages had finally made it to where Hollow was and saw the Eclipse Gate in the sky, waiting to be completely opened.

Delta: NO YOU DON'T!!!

Delta quickly fired off his Oblivion Stream at Hollow, who blocked it. Beidou requipped her Wolf's Gravestone blade and slashed at the robot, who blocked the strike with his arm as well. The two continued their assault while Ultear was preparing a spell that would reverse time and stop the gate. Hollow managed to knock them both to the side and set his sights on Ultear. His cannon came out of his chest and fired off a blast directly at her, but Delta Flash-Stepped in front of her and used his Oblivion Curtain to protect her.

Ultear: The spell will be ready in 5 minutes! Please do whatever you possibly can to keep him away from me!

Beidou: Hey Delta, I've got a technique that can do a lot of damage to him but it'll take a few seconds to charge up. Can you distract him for a bit?

Delta: Got it.

Faster than anyone could blink, Delta had lunged forward and delivered a powerful punch to Hollow's face. After that, he followed up with a kick that sent him sliding back. Hollow then stomped his foot on the ground, making wires shoot up and tried to grab the Dragon-Slayer, but he dodged them all with his incredible reflexes and using his speed. Hollow then tried to make all of the wires converge onto him from all angles, but Delta spun around while using his magic to obliterate the wires. Delta then dashed off towards Hollow once again while Beidou continued to charge up her attack. Him and Hollow engaged in hand to hand combat until Delta suplexed him through the ground. He followed his attack up with his Oblivion Fist, which Hollow ended up dodging. Beidou had finally finished powering up and lunged forward while thrusting her lightning covered blade towards Hollow, unleashing a technique she called Stormbreaker. The blade pierced through Hollow's body and three sharks made from her lightning shot forward and bit down into him before they exploded. Hollow flew backwards and landed on the ground, motionless. Delta leaped up into the sky while charging up magic in both of his hands. However, Beidou and Ultear quickly noticed that the color of his magic had slowly started to change. It went from a bright red to a mix of red and black.

Delta: *distorted Dragon Voice* OBLIVION DRAGON'S VANISHING WORLD!!!!

Beidou quickly moved towards where Ultear was standing seconds Delta's blast connected with Hollow's body. As soon as it connected, a massive black and red explosion was created for all to see. The smoke eventually cleared and Hollow had been obliterated along with about 85% of the cliff. Delta landed next to Beidou as his aura faded away. Before anyone could say anything, Ultear's spell had finished charging, and she unleashed it on the Eclipse Gate. This spell would stop the gate and bind it in a cage of time.
