Walking down the hall, you see Colby staring at you. You two lock eyes for a while until your best friend shakes you out of it.
"Girl are you ok?" Katrina asks.
"Yeah I'm good," you say still looking at Colby as he starts to walk away.
"Then why are you still staring, huh?" Katrina asks with a smirk on her face. "I'm not," you say, punching Kat playfully, "anyway, we should be getting to class".
You can't stop thinking about what just happened in the hallway.
As you are walking to class you bump into someone, causing you to both drop your books. As you lean down to retrieve them, you accidentally bump heads with the stranger.
Sorry you mutter, embarrassed. You glance up to notice who you ran into. You blush deeply, even more embarrassed, recognising immediately who it was.
Dont worry about it, he smiles, butterflies erupting in your stomach. Your blush creeps across your face as you got lost in his eyes.
"Are you ok, Y/n?" Colby asks with a smirk. Your blush darkens, your thoughts become a jumbled blur.
I- uh.. Um" you stutter.
His smirk widens a little at your flustered state. Colby looks into your eyes for a moment, a new glint in his own. You start to break out in a nervous sweat, not knowing what his game was. That was until he started to lean towards you. Your heart skips a beat as your breath quickens. Not knowing what to do, you close your eyes, not realizing you were leaning in too.
After what felt like forever, the kiss never came. You open your eyes in confusion.
Colby's smirk was wider than before as he stood back up, all books in hand, and looks down to you.
"See you later, Y/n" he states simply, unfazed by the interaction the two of you just had. Your head was spinning.
What just happened?
You gather the rest of your books as you try to process what just happened. Did Colby Brock just tease you? You?
That thought kept circling your mind until a certain someone brought you back to reality.
"Y/n!" Kat yells, "geez you're really out of it, huh?"
"He he" you rub the back of your neck nervously, "did you see any of that?"
"Yep!" she chirps, "not only did I see that, but I got it on camera too!"
