Fast moving world
Faster moving thoughts
Harder than I thought
Stuck somewhere
Amidst the noise'n poise
Masks on the face
False honey tongue
What do I do ?
Where do I stand?
Should I run along or stay
Have a mask and sweet tongue
or fall prey?now everyone knows
I'm the shell no flesh
An inflated balloon on a pin
The puss in a wound
little pressure it all takesDushasana in every face
Alone stands Durupad's daughter
Dreading every pace...
............................Ever felt naked and bare and had to cover it up all the time? Ever felt being vulnerable and insecure yet had to have a strong front. That's how most of my days pass.
Note: Durupad's daughter is draupadi /panchali who was disrobed in front of the sabha in the legendary epic Mahabharata. She then sets to avenge everyone. However, when Dushasana drags Draupadi to the court she pleads him not to do that and says she is at her vulenerable state. She's on her periods. Dushasana listens nothing and drags her by pulling her hair. Later draupati is saved by lord Krishna. It is just to portray how bare, and how vulnerable she would have felt while something vile was happening to her.
