I want to give you guys a little background on what's going to happen. So if you're wondering what Deathclan is, it's a clan me and my friends made. They took over the River and Shadowclan territories, and live there. Their territory is twice the size of a normal clan, and they have twice and many cats- refugees from Shadow and Riverclan, kittypets who've roughened for the wild, and rouges from all over. So here's the storyline of the beginning of Deathclan.

There was a cat named Phantom. Nobody knew where he came from, but they they did know he was kind of sedated and evil. He wore a mask over the left side of his face, covering a birth scar. He wore a cat tux almost all the time, and his markings were black and white. So anyway, Phantom began gathering cats. Tons of cats. Phantom didn't believe in Starclan, but when he visited the Moonstone (btw... Old territories), Starclan bestowed special spirit powers on him and his cats. No cat had control over what power they got, because they were based on personality and markings. They were called spirit powers, and there were 6 of them- Fire, Air, Earth, Ice, Wind, Water, and Blood.
Fire spirits were very powerful, and, by default were kind of fiery and strict, but could be kind and merciful too. Fire spirits could make themselves set on fire, set other things on fire, spontaneously combust stuff, and were (duh) fireproof. Some of the most powerful fire spirits could generate Greek Fire, the most powerful and destructive fire ever created... Powerful enough to burn underwater. Most hated water and water spirits though. Water spirits didn't like them too. Go figure

Air/wind spirits weren't exactly as powerful, but it was obviously a cool power to have. They could summon air to sweep themselves up and make them fly. They could rearrange stuff with wind, and practically anything wind could do, they could do. Most wind spirits were pretty chill, but hey, some were super rude and short tempered.
Wind powers weren't exactly life-threatening, because, are you seriously supposed to blow someone to death? Still, cool power.

Earth spirits were almost as powerful as fire ones. They could summon rocks and boulders from the earth and create mini spikes out of the ground. They were very crafty and intelligent, and were usually the ones repairing the camp after any natural disaster.

Ice spirits were also usually water spirits, although some cats were ice spirits alone. Very chill (lol) and and act cool. (Ex. Icefur xD, you'll meet him later) they could turn water to ice and spurt icicle that would act as flinging swords. They could create beautiful creations... As well as make stuff wither at their feet.

Now to water spirits. Most were also ice spirits, because those two powers were closely intertwined. They could spew water and draw water from almost anything- the earth, trees, rivers, anything, and bend it to their will. Unless they were only water spirits alone, they could freeze it too. Water could also be used for healing, but that took many years of practice. Most water spirits were kind and gentle.

Blood powers were usually given to the most evil cats with the darkest personalities. It's a shame, because blood powers are seldom used for good. Blood spirits could bend other creatures to their will, using the blood within them as their source. Very few cats could resist it.

I might put in a little quiz somewhere in the middle of the book to see what spirit you are.

As you may've picked up, yes, it is based off ATLA and Phantom is clearly based off the Phantom of the opera. Basically my friend's three favorite things at the time smoothed into one. Bam.

Anyway, now that I've got the spirits down, back to the Deathclan timeline. When phantom had around fifty cats from various places, he finally decided he had enough cats to attack and take over the forest. His idea was to take over the whole forest, but he only succeeded in getting half. There was a huge battle, and over 50 cats altogether died. Riverclan and Shadowclan had it rough... So rough they surrendered. The remaining cats of those two clan joined Deathclan, making Deathclan one supreme giant double-territoried clan. Phantom was overjoyed, even though he'd only reached half his goal, he was perfectly happy. He crowned himself the first leader of Deathclan, gave the rouges warrior names, and basically started a life in his "alpha clan" at this time he's only two-three human years old, which is incredibly young for a spirit cat. (Spirit cats live much longer that regular cats, the oldest spirit cat known to have lived in Deathclan lived to 37)

Okay, so there's a bit of background for you! :D. If you have any questions, PLEASE ask xD I'd hate to have you wonder! Also, a little mini dedication to Dragon_Night_Wolf for motivating me to make another story about Flamepelt and Amby (sometimes I call Amberfall that ok ok 😂)
