Matteo's POV:

I couldn't focus on pack works just because of this stupid mate bond that makes my mind think about her every second.

You see why I hate the mating thing now?!

As I rumble through the papers my office door opened.

"Who cares to enter without knocking? " I asked.

I looked up to see Trisha my sister.

"What I can't enter my brothers office anymore? I'm an outsider now huh? " she asked.

One reason I don't let her in is because she asks questions too much.

"It's not like that, am busy. " I said.

She made her way to my front desk and leaned over it.

"So how's she doing? " she asked.

I raised a brow for her questionably.

"How's who doing? " I asked.

"Eli told me you capture an intruder and she turns out to be your mate. " she answered bluntly. "How's she doing? " she asked again.

"I don't get why he can't shut up? " I said. "She's doing great, just have to think of how she would stay in the pack cottages. " I said.

"Well if you ask politely am sure she won't say no. " she said now seated on one of my office chairs.

"I don't do that and you know! Please leave you're a distraction. " I said.

"Not until you permit Eli to take me to her. " she said crossing her legs.

I sighed.

"No, you're not to go there. Only goddess knows what you'll put into her head. " I said.

"I'll just convince her you're not all that bad and you're a perfect mate for her. " she said. "And you love her but can't show it. " she added.

"See what I mean by putting nonsense into her head, I don't like her even and I don't want a mate. " I said.

"Well I want a sister-in-law. " she said.

"Please leave! "

"Nope, send Eli to take me there. "

"He won't, leave! "

"Am sure he will, am his mate after all. "

"Am his Alpha, leave. "

She went on and on about seeing my mate and at this rate I don't think I can focus on this pack's work.

"Fine I'll mind-link him now leave. " I said.

"Yes! " she yelled and skipped out of the office happily.

Ugh!

I cut off the mind-link from all the pack members to hear and for only Eli to.

Take your mate to meet the girl.

Sure alpha.

As soon as I went off the mind-link someone else walks in.

They won't leave me to work right?!!

"Who is it?! " I questioned loudly.

"Shh baby you'll make everyone know I'm here. " someone familiar said.

I looked up to see Jasmin or was it Angelica? I don't remember but she's the pack slut who I have had sex with once.

But she won't understand it was just to blow off steams and she kept coming.

"What do you want? " I asked.

She voluntarily sat on my lap and pumped her chest out making her breast to shoot out.

"What is it? " I asked sighing.

She made my mate saw us together all because she won't leave when I say so.

"I just missed you and wanted to see you, is it a crime to? " she asked.

"Yes it is when am working! " I yelled. "Please excuse yourself. " I added pointing at the door.

"Am not leaving, why don't you want me around? Have you forgotten the moments we shared and the love we had? " she said purring at me.

"Leave Angelica or I won't be responsible for what happens, I told you it was just a one night stand, which part do you not understand?! " I yelled.

She flinched and got up quickly.

"It's Corelle and if that's how it will be then I'll make sure you're my mate, no one will have you if I don't! " and she left slamming the door behind her.

Jasmine, Corelle, Angelica, I still don't care.

When is life going to grace me with it's beautiful presence? Not the ugly ones!

I continued working through the paper works but still had one person in my mind, my mate.

I'll meet her tomorrow, I want to get to know her better.

'If she let's you that is. You pushed her away when she wanted to know you! ' Red my wolf said.

I sighed knowing what he said was true.

I pushed her when she wanted to know me and now am paying interest on her, ugh damn this mate thingy.
