This case is definitely different from others. SJPD had a lot of crimes, connected with abusing, drug smuggling, illegal sale of people, murders, but... Here are involved a lot of children. Or rather their deposition.

In early yesterday's morning department got a call from woman, who was a witness of another kidnapping. Actually, the place of the crime didn't give much information. Just, probably, a boot print of an offender, after he stepped into the mud near the road.

"Well, people, what do we know for now?" Joe asked, coming out of his cabinet and squeezing Rex, who is lying on his simple place.

"Not too much, but I've identified our kidnapper. He was too silly not to hide from the camera on the house in front of him" Jesse spinned around in the chair with a wide smile, smirking "It's Logan Mackhill. In our base he's mentioned like a professional thief. Was involved for breaking in shops and stealing jewelry.

"Why did he start the "career" of kidnapper?

"Don't know yet, boss."

"Then continue searching for the answers... Oh, Charli! Do you know something else?"

Detective sat on his table, waving his hand, greeting his colleagues and friends. From the very beginning of the day he has been talking with people, who live near the place of crime. And, fortunately, it wasn't just the waste of time.

"Yeap" Hudson nodded, looking on the big screen " the women, who are living in this zone, saw him for several times, he was doing like sightseeing. Maybe he was preparing perfect place for his plan. Moreover, today we got a report, that Nelson Rig, 10 years old boy, didn't return to home."

"Did you talk to his parents?"

"Not yet, but Sarah and I are going to do it now."

Exactly at this moment forensic expert came to the "detectives wing" of district and went straightly to men. This night she felt not really well. Her husband was insisting her to stay home, but she didn't listen and came to work.

"These boot prints are his. Jesse gave me the photo of Logan and his soles of boots are the same." Doctor Thruong tiredly yawned, but, by fast shaking her head, got better.

"Then we're changing our plan. Firstly get Mackhill, talk to him and only when you're done with this, go to the family of that boy.

"Come on pal! Let's do it fast." Dog happily jumped off his sit and came to his owner. Hudson stood up and was already ready to leave, but was stopped by woman voice.

"Aren't you going to take me with you?"

"Definitely no. It's dangerous. Moreover, I'd like you to go home. As you're not going, you'll go with Mills to the family of victim. Check their computers, phones, ask about enemies... You know, what to do." Charlie replied in a tone that brooked no objection. He kissed her in the cheek and, once again calling Rex, came out of the district.

"Yea, just do it" Donovan energetically nodded. Woman angrily sighed and also came out. Jesse, spreading his arms vaguely, quickly gathered all the equipment he needed and also proceeded to the exit.

Detective Hudson is Joe's pride. He can trust him in almost everything. If Charlie says, that something is better, in 99% of cases he'll agree. He knows better the condition of all aspects of this kidnapping, especially of his wife. Superintendent chuckled to his thoughts and got back to his cabinet as he got a call from already his boss.

"Logan Mackhill? SJPD, open a door!" Charlie is knocking the ring. After a minute the door opens and detective sees very sleepy man. When he realised, that in front of him it's police, he tried to close it quickly, but angry barking of Rex paralysed him. "I will give you an advice: don't do it. This dog doesn't like at all when he's not allowed to go."
