Chapter 23: Rise and Shine my Fucking Stalker

A few hours ago in the Student Council Office...

"Zzzz...Zzzz...Zzzz..."

"Sayaka-chan~" Runa teased as she poked the sleeping Student Council Secretary in her face.

"G-Gah! Serial killer!" the purple-haired girl blurted out of nowhere.

"Serial killer? Do I look like the Bride of Chucky to you?" the short girl asked.

"M-my apologies, Yomozuki-san," Sayaka apologized as she massaged her temple. "I'm not getting enough sleep lately."

"Oh~ Can't take the President out of your mind, don't you?" Runa teased again.

"W-what? No! I-I'm just-"

"Just teasing yah! Nyahahaha!" she joked and get her jacket. "Don't overwork yourself, Sayaka-chan. The President doesn't want a haggard secretary. Nyahahaha!"

Sayaka puts back her laptop in her bag before following the Student Council Elections Committee Head.

"Yomozuki-san, wait!" Sayaka called before Runa could leave the office. "C-can I borrow your jacket?"

The short girl raised an eyebrow at her. "For what?"

"School purposes."

"What 'school purposes' exactly?"

"It's confidential!" Sayaka snatches Runa's jacket and then ran away.

"Hey! That's a limited edition!"

"I'll return it clean tomorrow!" the Student Council Secretary shouted.

"You better be..." Runa muttered as Sayaka turned a corner.

The purple-haired girl ran towards the Music Department of the Academy. She received a report earlier that someone was making a terrible noise with a piano in the music room so she had to check it out. She's also sure that it's Tamara since the latter must have received Yumemi Yumemite's invitation now.

"I just wanna be the comic relief~ Making jokes, not taking any responsibilities~"

She immediately hides behind an empty classroom as soon as she heard a familiar voice singing a song. She cannot be mistaken. It's the voice of the person she's looking for, Tamara Edwards.

"It's waking up inside of the dream~Don't know what to believe~Woo!" the tall girl sang as she passed through the empty classroom Sayaka has been hiding in. "Maybe that's why~"

"Disappointment takes us by surprise~Even though by now I think we should have realized~Everyone is dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb, dumb~"

"Singing a song about how dumb you are? You're self-aware today," Sayaka smirked and wore Runa's Kigurumi jacket. The purple-haired secretary quietly goes out of the empty classroom and follows Tamara.

She proceeds to stalk the latter as she leaves the school, goes to the wet market, buys ingredients that she assume is for her dinner, and then her home. People gave her weird looks as she followed her target due to her wearing a light color Kigurumi jacket. She doesn't mind everyone giving her a look as if she's a weirdo as long as Tamara doesn't notice her.

After watching documentaries and researching famous serial killers, she wants to confirm if Tamara's one of them herself. She only has to follow her home and mark it on her GPS. Then the next day, she'll file a leave of absence for the very first time. It's the perfect time to search Tamara's house since she'll be at school.
