Ricardo
His strong presence entered the warehouse and his signature slow strides commanded the attention of all the henchmen.
"Was good bro" Zay embraced me once I neared
"We're you able to get ahold of Mario" I said referring to my uncle.
"Nah man that's what I called you here for but I didn't wanna cause a scene over the Jack. I went by the crib and there's no sign of him. A nigga ain't tryna panic but....
"Let's go" I said leaving Zay standing in the warehouse before shortly following.
Zay could see the glint of distress on my face as I hopped in my Benz.
I damn near broke the gear shift as I sped off on my way to my uncles home.
20 minutes later***
I hopped out the whip with Zay in tow and unlocked his front door and found Rosalinda, his housekeeper napping on the large teal sofa.
"Rosa!" I heightened my voice just enough to startle her.
"Hmm, Ric I was just about to call you actually" She sat up wiping the spurts of drool from the corner of her mouth.
"Have you seen my uncle I asked as my chest slightly heaved in desperation.
"I haven't since yesterday afternoon, it's rare for him to leave me unattended but he gave me a spare key just in case. He also hasn't taken his medication" She responded clutching a blanket with worry in her eyes.
Rosalinda has been with the family for years and often cared for us as children and grown men like a second mother.
I rubbed the top of my head in sheer disappointment and my mind raced.
"You're good Rosa I'll let you know when I find him" I said shutting the front door softly.
"Shit not sitting right fam, we out" I said reaching for the push to start.
Me and Zay spent almost 2 hours hitting all spots and it came down to 2 warehouses. The Black Port, and Red port warehouse. You could hear the Benz damn near burn rubber as it neared the back entrance of the discreet building. Once I got out of the car the feeling of gloom overwhelmed me as if I wore it on my clothing. Call it a omen but my gut told me to brace myself. I removed my gold dipped beretta and aimed while Zay unlock the chain. It was pitch black as if the power had been cut.
"You can't see shit in here bro" Zay tried to find the emergency power switch but the tiny glimmer of light coming from the Red candle made me head in that direction.
Once I turned the corner I felt the weight of my body crash as I dropped to one knee. I bit down on my knuckles in despair at the sight of my uncle. There he was bound to a chair, the wide gash on his throat poured blood freely as his eyes were glued to the ceiling open.
"FUCCCCCCCCCCK!" I roared as my breathing became slightly shallow.
When Zay turned the corner his hand found his face in turmoil.
"Damn Unc..." Zay saw that his wrists were nailed to the arms of the wooden chair and he boiled inside.
"Them motherfuckers" I rose to my feet feeling a tear roll down the flesh of my cheek.
On his torso was a recorder taped and I gently retrieved the device.
"In this game you know....fairness should rarely go underrated my friend. In fact it should be celebrated...glorified even. You delivered a knife to my shoulder, I deliver a knife to your heart. Now you lay him to real rest nice understand........." Deuce
