The light of the morning sun was peering in through the blinds. I stretched out my torso, which seemed unusually stiff. As I let my eyes adjust to the glistening light, I became aware that these were not my usual surroundings. I sat up sharply to try and work out where I was. The room looked familiar yet somehow I couldn't quite place it. Next to me, I heard a sleepy sigh. I looked over to see slightly awake Castle, with one arm laying in the spot where I had just awoke from. It was still taking time to adjust to my new life with Castle...the new 'us'.
I leant over and placed a light kiss on his lips. "Morning sleepy head", I whispered softly into his ear.
All of a sudden, he grabbed me by the waist and pulled my on top of him. He sat up until his face met with mine. I gazed into his piercing blue eyes. "Good morning my Lady" and he leant in to kiss me. His soft lips met mine with a crash. They lingered with the kiss becoming increasingly more passionate. That's one thing I loved about Castle, he always knew how to love me.
When eventually we pulled apart, I looked at Castle'a bedroom. By the look of things, we had a great night last night. Although with the amount of wine I'd had to drink, I only remember small amounts. However what I do remember...was pretty amazing.
"Shall I make us some breakfast?" Castle asked kindly. I nodded my head and followed him to the kitchen.
