Addison pov:
It's 3am (Jet lag ) and the second day of the conference. Yesterday was a bit of a blur due to my hangover but we just went for breakfast then looked over my presentation, then did my presentation and to end off the day Meredith and I went for a lovely dinner at sushi samba in Covent Garden. Mer and I just talked the whole way through dinner and as it turns out we have a lot more in common, now I see why Richard sent us together.
I walked from my room (115) on the 22nd floor and Meredith was (117) just down the hall. "Meredith" I call knocking on the door "Meredith open the door" I repeat, then I hear a loud thud from inside and just for a split second i thought she may have someone in there with her which suddenly made jealousy flow through me "Fuck sake" I hear her swear which makes me giggle "Addison?" She asks opening the door.
"Mourning" I greet and she just stares at me "So are you gonna let he in?" I ask "Uh...yeah come...come in" she stutters opening the door and stepping aside. I take a seat on her unmade bed and cross my legs "Grey seriously what is it? I know I've only just woken up and I look a mess but that's just what I look like in the middle of the night " I say as she still hasn't moved.
She closed the door and slowly started moving towards me she sat down next to me and looked at me "Addison" she said slowly "Your Beautiful" she whispers and I felt butterflies start swarming in my stomach so I just giggled and turned around and got into the left side of the bed getting under the covers opening my laptop. I looked over at Mer and taped the right side of the bed she climbed in next to me "Brr dude" she says which I've learnt is what she says when she's cold.
"Brr dude" I repeat laughing "Real Housewives?" She asks "Yep" I say getting it on my laptop she rests her head on my shoulder . We watched for a while when Mer gets a phone call. "Who's that?" I ask "Oh it's Cris" she says raising her eyebrows "Hellooooo, you whore" Cristina slurs "Any London Boys or girls yet?" She continues "Nope no hookups" Mer laughs, but I realise she said Boys or GIRLS is Meredith bisexual???
"Happy birthday Mer" I hear Izzy say in the back, it was Meredith's birthday "Thanks Iz" she says "We gotta go" I hear Alex shout in the back "Byeee" Meredith says putting down the phone seeing me looking confused "It's your birthday?" I ask "It seems that way" she shrugs "Happy birthday" I smile hugging her "Thanks but I'm old" she laughs "Old? Your not old! How old are you turning?" I ask "29" she diverted her eyes from mine "hahahahhahahah I thought you were gonna be at least 15" I joke and she lightly swats my arm "I'm serious" she pouts.
"Ok we're going out later to celebrate and I'm gonna plan your 30th ok?" I say "Addisonnnnn" she whines "I'm kidding" I giggle "And what makes you think I'm gonna want you around a year from now?" She asks and I just shrug "Let's watch the movie" I say.
Later on at 7 I wake up and feel this weight on my chest I look down and Meredith is looking up at me with the most admirable look in her eyes I've ever seen and I was so tempted to just kiss her.
Meredith pov:
Addie and I got up and ready for the day and now it's the lunch hour so we're gonna go out. "Hey Addison, let's go to get some lunch. There's this cute coffee shop called Blank Street Coffee and it's not to far away." I tell her as she walks beside me while on her phone "Mkay whatever" she mumbles not really acknowledging me. I just roll my eyes, she had been on her phone the whole morning doing God knows what.
We sit down at the table and the waitress comes over "What can I get for you?" She asks sweetly and I look up from my menu "Oh My God Death" she squeaks "Die??" I say in shock, I get up and hug her tightly. "So is this the Mrs? You always did have a thing for red heads" Sadie says looking down at Addie "Ha no she's my boss" I laugh but Addison still says nothing "Is she ok?" Sadie whispers "I don't know what's wrong with her today" I whispered back.
"So what can I get for you ladies?" Sadie asks "I'll have a croissant and laté. Earth to Addison" I wave my hand infront of her face "Damn it Grey what?" Addison asks frustratedly "Listen chick she was just asking for your order. And you don't pay any attention to her when she's sitting right in front of you I mean I knew if I had someone like her sitting this close, I would not miss an opportunity to get in her pants let alone talk" Sadie says in an angry tone.
"Woah Die it's fine she's JUST my boss" I chuckled "Well I get my lunch break in 5 so let's go out for a bit" Sadie says smirking at Addison.
Addison pov:
Later Meredith and I are outside a bar after a few drinks just getting some air was needed. All we are doing is standing against a wall so I pull out a cigarette from my bag placing it between my lips "Okay do not even think about smoking this" Meredith says pulling the cigarette out my mouth "One quick one before we go back in" I say looking back at the door "Since when did you start smoking?" She asks with a disappointed look "Since I slept with my husband's best Friend" I answered grabbing the smoke back and quickly putting in my mouth.
"Addison" she sighs taking out my mouth again "Give" she gestures for the rest of the packet "GIVE" she slightly yells and I push the box in her hand and frown "Addison, Mark and Derek are not a good enough reason to start smoking" she say's putting the box in her bag. "I know" I say bowing my head "No, No you don't because if gonna sit her and tell me that from the minute you walked in the hospital three years ago to get Derek back but seeing me with him, you don't know."
"Addison you are an amazing woman, your accomplishments measure greater than Derek and Mark combined by a far way. I just... I just don't get it. Your smart, beautiful, kind, and to top it off your on a holiday in a different country with you ex- husbands , ex- dirty mistress. I mean come on Addie" she continues to ramble and it makes butterflies swarm in my stomach "Meredith...we're friends your not just Derek's mistress anymore. I just married the first guy I loved and hoped it would go ok" I admit.
"I loved Derek but I wasn't in love with him." I sigh "You weren't?" She asks "No, I would hate to hurt him but I thought I was Gay and I didn't think my parents would accept they are Forbes-Montgomery's and as my Mother always said "We just don't do that" so I got married , then I slept with Mark to see if it was just Derek and, as you may know, Derek is not very fun Sex, it was Derek, but my point being I am bisexual" I rant to Meredith out of breath.
"Your Gay?" Meredith frowns and I think 'oh God she hates me' "I'm sorry I should have known you weren't ok with it I just I thought you were different" I say with a hurt look. I watch as she shuffles in her bag looking for something then pulls out my cigarettes and puts one between her lips "You just gave me a whole lecture about smoking and your doing the same that's unfair" I say still a little hurt and confused "Maybe if I have this between my lips you'll finally wrap yours around mine" she smirks I'll
