The sky was hidden by dark clouds, rain slowly began to fall. People were pushing and shoving. Another expedition. A young man, along with other members of the Survey corps were getting ready to leave. They were going beyond the wall. "Steven! Steven wait!!" The man turned around to see a younger girl pushing through the crowd. "Lillith.." He sighed. His younger sister was stopped by an old man. "Stay back. You can't stop him from leaving now." Soon after the girl stopped trying to get past, the gate opened. The commander of the Survey corps yelled and every single scout followed him outside the wall. Steven didn't look back at his sister. She watched until he was fully out of sight. "Please come back alive.."

"Lillith?" Called a boy around the same age as her. "What is it?" She walked over to her friend. "I heard my dad talking about the Survey corps, they'll be coming back soon." He smiled at her. "Really?!" He nodded. She was about to ask to celebrate with him but soon realised.. "What if big brother doesn't come back?" She looked down at the floor. "Don't say that. He promised, remember?" Her friend took her by the hand and smiled at her. "Yeah he did. I shouldn't worry so much, he's brave and strong. There's no way he would be eaten by one of those monsters." They both ran up a path and went to their houses.

The next day, the bells rang. They were back. "Grandfather! He's back!" Lillith yelled and quickly ran out of the house. "Wait, don't run off without me.." Her grandfather sighed. She had already made her way to the crowd of people standing near the gate. Her smile faded as she saw many of the soldiers still covered in blood. "What happened to the rest of them?" A man asked another. "Damn idiots, they probably got themselves eaten." Lillith began to panic. She couldn't see her brother anywhere. Pushing through to the front, she saw one of her brothers friends. "Hey! Daniel.. Where is-" she cut herself off when she saw the look on his face. Tears were rolling down his cheeks. "This can't.. be happening.." He mumbled. "All of my friends.. Gone." Lillith fell to her knees and wailed. "He promised me.. Why? Why isn't he here?" Her grandfather stood beside her. "He died to protect us. To protect you." She looked up at him. "But.." He cut her off and pulled her by the arm. "Let's go home."

I really hope you like it. I enjoy writing stuff like this, even if it's terrible. Oh well.
