Duncan and I followed Dad to a big building, there wasn't anything interesting about it. It just looked like a white block with a door in it.
"In Here" He murmured.
I gasped. so did Duncan. Was I seeing right? I rubbed my eyes and Duncan pinched himself. My dad just looked at us both and chuckled.
There were people doing magic! And so many different types of it too! In 1 corner there was Elemental magic, (Fire, Water, Earth and Wind.)
In another corner, there was flying and aiming. (I liked this already!)
In another corner there was protection spells and controlling your magic. And Finally, Other.
Duncan sprinted to the Elemental magic while I ran to the flying and aiming. But then somebody stopped me. It was a lady, about 20 years old, with straight black hair and kind blue eyes. She smiled at me and said:
"Sorry to stop you, but I need some details of you before you take lessons here."
"Oh... Err... Sure." I replied.
She smiled and asked me the questions but when she got onto the question:
"Do you have magic?"
"Yep."
"Then prove it."
"Can I disintegrate something?"
The lady handed me a blank piece of paper. I held it in front of my eyes.After about 2 seconds, it disintegrated in front of me. The lady looked pretty impressed. She started clapping and I smiled.
"Ok. Off you go then!" she giggled, pointing to her left where the seats were. I smiled and walked off. I sat on a seat next to a girl with wavy brown hair and pretty green eyes.
"Hi, My name is Chloe." I started.
"Hello, I'm Alice. Are you new here?" Alice responded, her pretty green eyes shimmering.
"Yep."
"Cool. Do you have your disguise name yet?"
"What's a disguise name?"
"Its a name that covers your true identity. So... if you were kidnapped or something."
"Oh... Well ..No I don't. Do you have one?"
"Uh Hu. My name is Sapphire and I'm proud of it!"
"Awesome name!"
Just then, A voice bellowed:
"Alice Mcdonald!"
And Alice had to go. She whispered in my ear:
"Meet me here tomorrow?"
"Sure." I replied.
Alice smiled and walked off.
I grinned at myself. I'd just made a new friend.
And she was magic.

"Chloe Hayden!"
I jolted up at the sound of my name. It was my turn. I stood up and walked up to a man with messy brown hair and deep hazel eyes.
" Hi, I'm Gary and I'm gonna be your flying teacher for today!" Gary exclaimed. " Now first of all, I want you to put your arms by you sides but be relaxed."
I obeyed and did just that.
"Now just imagine..."
I imagined that I was flying ( with my eyes open) and I slowly started flying. When I was a metre up in the sky, I crash-landed on my bottom.
"Ouch..." I whispered.
Gary lifted me up and encouraged me to do it again.
"This time, close your eyes for 3 seconds, it'll really help." Gary
requested.
I was kinda puzzled how closing my eyes for 3 seconds would help with my flying. But I did it anyway.
And Gary was right. It did help.
I flew higher and higher until my head touched the roof, then I started flying to my dad. My dad saw me flying and chuckled.
"That's my girl!"
I grinned at him and flew off to Gary, he congratulated me.
"Well done! You've just learned how to fly!" He laughed.
"Chloe! Chloe!"
I looked behind me, Duncan was running towards me. I said bye to Gary and I walked towards Duncan.
"Dad says we have to go." Duncan called.
"Kk. Did you learn anything new" I responded.
"Yep. From all different elements! Water first!
Then he made water fly in mid-air over me, clicked his fingers and the water drenched me.
"DUNCAN!!!" I screamed. "You better fix this right now!!!"
"Urgg... Fine." He said, and made a circle of fire around me. My hair slowly dried up but my clothes were still drenched. Meh. It was better that nothing.
Duncan then used his new wind powers to make a big hair-drier that toppled me over.
"DUNCAN!! YOU IDIOT!" I shouted, rubbing my head, he smirked and used the earth behind me to lift me to my feet.
"Wow!" I breathed. "Impressive!"
"So....What did you learn?" Duncan asked.
"This."
I closed my eyes and started flying, when I opened my eyes , I saw Duncan with his mouth open and goggle-eyed. I giggled and flew down to him.
"Gary says I might be able to open my eyes when I start flying and I don't have to close my eyes for 3 secs" I said.
"THAT'S SO COOL! I need to do dat!" Duncan squealed.
"Come on slow-coaches! Race ya!" Dad called and teleported out of the building. Me and Duncan put our game faces on and bolted out of the white block. Dad looked behind him and teleported faster, Duncan lifted the grass in front of me and I jumped in front of Dad. His eyes widened and I grinned. Duncan then over-took him with his wind powers. I started flying towards the house and took Duncan by the arms.
"Seeya later Sucker!" Duncan saluted, I got to see Dad's mouth open in surprise and we both drifted off into the distance.
