"Lakshmi........uncle ne kaha tha ki mujhe tumhara khyaal rakhna hain....tumhe mera khyaal rakhna hain."
"Lakshmi mujhe tumse durr nahi jaana hain......pichle 12 saal se intezaar kar raha tha...ab aur nahi.....ab chalo na shaadi kar lete hain."
"Lakshmi tum laut kar aaogi na? Promise?"
"Main laut kar zaroor aaungi Rishi."
A boy quickly opened his tear filled eyes. He was lying on the bed with an empty bottle of alcohol in his hand. He was revealed to be Rishi.
Rishi woke up and went near the mirror. He looked at himself. He was looking as a devdas....but it was his showtime. He cannot let his past ruin his present. No matter what is going on in his heart...he will never express it infront of anyone.
Rishi quickly trimmed his beard. He got ready and quickly came down. He then sat down in the car. He left for the airport. After boarding the flight he messaged someone that he was reaching soon and then switched his phone off.
After one and a half hour Rishi came out of the airport. He took a cab.
Rishi(in mind): Uss baat ko 3 saal guzar chuke hain....fir bhi main use nahi bhool paa raha hoon. Aisa kyun? Iss sawaal ka jawab main inn 3 saalon mein kitni baar pooch chuka hoon....lekin koi jawab nahi de paa raha main apne aap ko. Iss sawaal ka jawab kya hain mujhe nahi pata hain lekin mujhe ek baat zaroor pata hain....main usse fir zindagi mein kabhi nahi milna chahta hoon. Vo khush hogi....I know......aur use khush hi rehne do mere bina.....mujhe koi farak nahi padta hain.
Soon Rishi reached to his destination. It was Gill Mansion. He came inside. He no one in the hall.
Mannu bai: Yeh lo Rishi.......pani pee lo. Thak gaye honge.
Rishi: Thank you dadi....baaki sab kaha hain?
Mannu bai: Baki sab upar ke kamre mein hain. Ek ladki aayi thi kal......usko bohot tez bukhaar aaya hain....doctor ko bulaya hain...sab wahi hain.
Rishi: Ek ladki ke peeche....sab waha pohoch gaye?
Mannu bai: Haan.....badi hi pyaari ladki hain.....tum bhi jaao.....sab tumhe wahi milenge.
Rishi: Okay.
Rishi quickly went upstairs. He saw everyone gathered in a room. The doctor left.
Everyone came out from the room.
Rishab got very happy seeing Rishi.
Rishab hugged Rishi.
Rishab: Kaisa hain yaara?
Rishi: Main bilkul theek hoon.....tu bata tu kaisa hain...aur vo ladki kaun hain? Dadi ne bataya ki kal hi aayi hain. Kaun hain?
Rishab: Tu niche chal...main tujhe sab batata hoon.
Rishi: Okay....main bas abhi change karke aaya.
Rishab: Thik hain.
Rishi quickly changed and went downstairs.
Rishi: Ab bata.....kaun hain vo ladki...aur kya maamla hain. Teri girlfriend toh nahi?
Rishab: Nahi.......meri girlfriend nahi hain. Zarasal kal main aa raha tha tab......
Rishab narrated him everything.
Rishi: Oo.......waise....vo ladki chor vor toh nahi hain na?
Rishab: Nahi nahi.....lagti nahi hain. Tu chahe toh dekh le jaa kar.
Rishi: Koi shauk nahi hain mujhe.....kya pata kab vo hosh mein aa jaae....aur mujhe dekh kar darr jaae.
Rishab: Haan...baat toh sahi hain....tu meri tarah handsome bhi toh nahi hain.
Rishi: Accha?
Rishi threw a pillow at Rishab.
Rishab(laughing): Arrey...mazaak kar raha tha main.......tu toh serious ho gaya.
Rishab's sister: Aap inhe chodo na Rishi bhai.....aap mujhe batao ki aap vo laae ki nahi jo maine bola tha.
Rishi: Haan....le kar aaya hoon. Mera jo suitcase hain na usmein aadhe se zyada tera hi samaan hain. Tu jaa kar nikaal le.
Rishab's sister: Nahi nahi....aap laye ho na...toh baad mein de dena....laaye ho yahi badi baat hain. Waise aap jaante ho? Uss ladki ka naam hain Lakshmi.
Rishi widened his eyes with a frown on his forehead.
Rishi(in mind): Lakshmi? Kahi yeh wahi toh nahi? Nahi nahi......uski story sunn kar toh nahi lagta hain. Fir bhi ek baar check kar leta hoon.
Rishi: Main zara aata hoon.
Rishab: Thik hain...lekin jaldi aana.
Rishi: Haan.....sure.
Rishi quickly went upstairs. He opened the door. His heart was beating faster than it should. It was almost coming out from his body. There was only one prayer in his heart 'Yeh vo Lakshmi nahi honi chahiye'.
With his shivering hands he turned on the lights of the room. He saw a girl sleeping turning the other side.
With his shivering hands he turned her around. She was revealed to be Lakshmi.
"Shaadi ke baad main tumhe chod kar kabhi nahi jaaungi Rishi.....I promise."
"Main tumse bohot pyaar karti hoon Rishi...I Love you."
"Good Bye Rishi"
Rishi's eyes had became red due to frustration.
"Why the hell did she come back in his life?"
"Why can't she let him live peacefully?"
"Why can't she just live him alone?"
"What is her motive this time?"
These questions were roaming in Rishi's mind.
Rishi took an ample amount of water and then he threw it on Lakshmi's face. Lakshmi woke up. She saw Rishi standing infront of her. She thought she might be dreaming...so she pinched herself.
Lakshmi(happily): Yeh sapna nahi hain.....tum sach mein yaha ho Rishi?(teary eyed) Tum sach mein mere saamne ho?
Rishi held Lakshmi's arms tightly.
Rishi: Kyun aayi ho yaha tum Lakshmi? Kaunsa zakhm dene aayi ho tum Lakshmi? Kyun tum mujhe akela nahi chod sakti? Kyun?
Lakshmi was teary eyed. She didn't speak anything. She was very happy that she met Rishi but she was drowning in the ocean of guilt....as what Rishi had turned into due to her...made her cry. She was the reason due to which Rishi had become like this. If only she would have not hurted him.....if she had not played with his feelings......it she had not killed his innocence like this...then he would be the innocent Rishi. It is her fault...all her. She is unable to answer anything.....she doesn't knows how she will redempt...but she will have...any how...she will have to...no matter for how long.
