Gabriella's POV:

Okay I'll stay in the freaking cottage but he doesn't know what I plan to do.

'Let me guess run away? ' Ashley asked.

And you've guessed it!! Am gonna run away and into my freedom.

No controlling life or heartless mates!

"Are you okay, hello? " someone asked.

I looked up to see the Beta standing at the opposite side of the cell.

I really have to know his name.

'You think? ' Ashley asked again.

"What's you name? " I blurted out.

"Why you wanna know? " he asked.

"Well I can't keep calling you the Beta and not know who's talking to me, I mean you know my name. " I said.

"I'll tell you when the times right, someone wants to meet you. " he said.

When the times right?!

"Who? " I asked.

Then a girl walked in through the doors, she looks more like the grumpy guy who I suppose is my stupid mate.

She has waist length black hair and ice blue eyes, so enchanting.

"Who are you and why are you here? " I asked. "Wait don't tell me, you're here to speak for your brother? " I asked again.

Gosh I blab too much.

"How do you know my brother? " she asks.

"You look much like him. " I said. "Too bad he has such stupid temper and is a man whore. " I added rolling my eyes at nothing in particular.

"Well you guessed right he is my brother and am his mate. " she said pointing to the Beta and my mouth dropped.

"You're the mate to this... Thing? " I asked uncertain of what to call him.

"Yes I am and... "

"Am not a thing, excuse you. " the Beta interrupted her.

I rolled my eyes and looked at her "What's his name? " I asked.

"Elijah, just call him Eli. " she said.

I grinned and faced the guy who was now looking at his mate glaring but then his eyes softened.

"I know your name now Mr grumpy. " I said and he just huffed.

"You haven't answered my question yet. " I said looking at her. "Why are you here? " I asked again.

"Well just to chat, I found out you're he's mate and wanted you to know him better. " she said.

"Well thank you but I don't want to... " but then I shut up.

This is it! I can get to know his name and status from his sister then reject him before running away!!

'In the years when you had never had sense, am shocked how you did now. ' Ashley said.

Well just put two plus two together and got four, you can thank me later.

'Don't breath.' She said in sarcasm.

I looked up at her and cleared my throat.

"Sure." I said.

They looked at each other before the cell gate opened and she walked in.

The Beta locked it back and said "When you're done mind link me and I'll be here. " he said and she nodded.

He left leaving us alone.

"Why did you suddenly say yes? " she asked.

Think Gabby Think!!

"Because he seem like an interesting guy and I wanted to get to know you too. " I lied.

Whoa that came out smoothly.

"Oh okay. " she said.

"So let's start with the basics, what is his name? " I asked.

"Matteo, I still don't know how you don't know. " she said.

"Well sucks to be an outsider, he really has a cute name. " I said.

Not lying here, dream name.

"Favourite colour. " I asked.

"Black." She said.

Well not surprising.

"Well mines green, what's yours? " I asked.

"Blue, you can say it really suits me. " she said.

And I just laughed.

We went on and on and I found out may things about the big bad Alpha.

It turns out their parents are no more and he's ruling this pack, obvious.

He doesn't talk to people much and only had sex with the packs slut, the girl I saw like two days ago.

He's house is coincidentally close to my cell and he loves taking walks through the forest early in the morning.

He seem interesting but he has an uncontrollable ego and is an man whore.

We talked more mostly about her now and I also found interesting things about her.

She likes chocolate pudding like me and loves vanilla chocolate chip ice cream.

I prefer cookies and cream.

She loves the colour blue which you know and she is planning on her upcoming Female Beta party.

Where they crown you as the Beta Female as you're the the Beta's mate.

But the end of our conversation came and I just couldn't help but feel sad.

I finally had someone to talk to and she has to leave.

"Come by tomorrow? " I asked.

She nodded and just then Eli walked in.

I love how his name slips from my mouth.

'Watch it, he has a mate and girlfriend at that. ' he said.

And I have a douche bag for a mate, thank you goddess.

Not being sarcastic at all, totally.

'Yeah, I know too. ' she answered sarcastically.

"Goodnight Gabby." I heard Trisha said and I waved at her.

"Goodnight grumpy." I smirked at Eli who rolled his eyes.

They left and I plop on to my bed.
