Chapter 4: What A Sap

Logan

I saw a bench just outside of Wonder Warf. I sat down and patted the seat next to me, "come sit down."

Louise slowly sat down next to him. She looked at me as he spoke, "I fucked up."

"Well, duh." She said, "but what do YOU think you fucked up?"

"Everything."

"Even teasing me?" She looked shocked.

"No. Teasing you...allowed me to spend time with you."

Louise wrinkled her nose, "Dude...I was a kid."

"But you were a cool kid...and you're definitely not a kid anymore." I was staring at her chest.

"Really Loggy? Really? Are checking me out?" She was yelling at me, "I know what this is about! You want to add me to the notch on your bed! What was the plan Logan? Make me feel bad for you? Then I'd run into your arms and give you my virginity?"

I raised an eyebrow and calmly said "You're still a virgin?"

"OH MY GOD LOGAN! That isn't the point! I can't believe than boy who tortured me on the daily wants to sleep with me!" She got up and walked...or stomped...away.

Louise

I could hear Logan calling for me has he followed me at a safe distance, "Louise! Please, that's not why I'm here. Seriously."

I turned around, my hands on my hips as I say, very loudly, "Logan. You know why I annoyed you so much as kids? Do you know I put up with your shit?"

"Because you had to?" He answered.

"You really think I couldn't have kicked your ass at any point?" I tried hard not check him out again. He grew up so well.

Logan bit his lip, "You liked me."

"Don't get a big ego...it was ages ago. But yeah. You were my crush. So what?"

Logan grabbed my hips and pulled me to him. His lips were as close as they could be without touching mine. He whispered "Louise...you're beautiful. I don't care what happened when we were kids, I've fucked up everything in my life, I want to get this right. Go on a date with me?"

"I'll think about it. What would we do on this date?" I asked.

Being put on the spot Logan grinned "We can go to the aquarium...I know you love the sharks."

I swallowed hard, "I do..." remembering the last time I went there. I had to poop...in a public bathroom. I don't do that.

"Then maybe we can lay under the stars, talk?"

"Loggy Bear wants to talk?" I giggled at the thought.

"Only with you...Louise."

"OK. I will go on a date with you. When?" I bit my lip nervously as I waited for an answer.

"Tonight. 6 o'clock?"

I nodded, "Loggy?"

"Hmmm?" He never took his eyes off mine.

I whispered, "kiss me? Tonight?"

He smiled and nodded. Then Logan walked me back to work and left.
