John pulls in the first hotel he comes to.  'The Chelsea Inn' a neon sign read in red.  It's been a rough few days, so he gets out of town for the weekend.  This hotel seems like a nice spot right next to a lake.  The man at the front desk greets him, and John nods back.  Then, with a humble voice, John asks for a room for the weekend.  "You're not going to shoot the place up, are ya?  I don't need any more overdoses happening here, and to be honest, you seem like a broken man." The clerk looks at John sympathetically as he questions him.  "No, nothing like that.  I don't do drugs or drink alcohol."  John replies,"I've just had some problems the last couple of days and needed to get away."  "Ahh, I see, you've had your heart broken."  "Now it's clearer."  The clerk replies, sounding proud that he was able to figure out something about this mysterious person he had never met before.  "Sure Freddy, whatever you say."  "I never told you my name. Who are you?".  "Freddy, relax, it's on your shirt brother".  John replies with a smile.  Freddy smiles back and hands him a room key.  "Room number 35". Freddy calls out as John is walking out the door.
Once settled in, John rolls a joint, lights it, and kicks back.  About an hour or 3 joints later, there is a knock on the door.
John walks over to the door and looks through the peep hole.  There is a young woman standing there.  John opens the door. "Can I help you?".  The young lady replies, "Can I smoke that with you?  I could smell it walking by your room, and I really need to get stoned right now."  He hesitates at first, then invites her in.  He passes her the joint and asks her for her name.  She doesn't speak. She just hits the joint.  "How about some music?".     She finally says something.  "Yeah, I'll put something on."   John grabs his phone and starts some music.  They continue to pass the joint back and forth, not really talking much.  About an hour into it, and God knows how many joints have been smoked, John remembers having a deep conversation but doesn't remember what it was.  He then smiles once more before nodding off.  John awakens the next morning to find that he is alone.  He quickly jumped up to make sure none of his belongings were missing.  "I'll be damned. She didn't take anything."   He then notices a sticky note attached to his bag of weed.  "I owe you a joint. Last night was fun - Bella."  John smiles.  He takes a quick shower, gets dressed, and then makes his way to the front office.  "Freddy, there was a woman here last night. She left once I fell asleep.  She left a note that has the name Bella on it."  John shows Freddy the note.  "That must be Isabella Moonlight. She's some kind of witch or palm reader in town."   Freddy replies.  "Thanks, Freddy, I'll catch you later."   "One more thing, John, I noticed the note mentioned a joint, and well, I was just wondering if if"..."  "If I had one for you? of course, my friend, I tell you what, I'll give you a half of some high grade for two free nights in my room."  "It's a deal."  Freddy replies with a big smile.
John heads out.  He takes a right at the sign that reads 1 mile to Holly Hill city limits.  Not long after entering the town, John sees a diner and decides to pull in.  He hasn't had a meal for a little while, and his stomach was starting to ache.  After sitting down at a booth a waitress walks over to hand him a menu, as she got closer she recognizes the man sitting at the table and pauses for a moment, then continues to the young gentleman's table.  "Here's the menu, I can go ahead and get you something to drink."  I'll take a water, please."  "And I'll take a plate of eggs and bacon as well."  John smiles at the waitress.  As she nervously walks away, she thinks to herself, "He must not remember me. He must have been so stoned he doesn't remember me."   She laughs a little at the idea.  John thinks to himself, "That's definitely her."  He smiles.  John enjoys his meal and then requests the bill.  He counts out the amount due plus a tip, then heads out.  When Isabella picks up the money with the tip, there is a piece of paper that reads. I owe you a joint.  She laughs to herself.  John heads back to the hotel.  John is relaxing back at his room when there's a knock on the door.  He looks through the peep hole, and sure enough, it's her.  John opens up the door. "Come on in, I've already got a joint burning.  Bella enters quickly as if she was being watched or something.  John looks around then steps back into the room, and closes the door.  "Here, have some of this, I forgot what it's called, but it's some good smoke."  Bella takes the joint, and before taking a hit, she says,"I need to talk to you about Holly Hill, John."  John smiles and replies, "You're a small town woman, and I'm some outsider, I get it."  "No, but it's more than that, John, you have no idea. This place shouldn't exist, but it does." Bella sighs.  John smiles. "The eggs weren't too bad."  The two share a laugh.
