The avian walked around as clanking noises were made ad they walked. Their wings being bounded up and the people in the village stared at them.

Sabre had broken curfew far too many times to the point Rainbow didn't care and bounded up their wings despite them protesting yelling out "It hurts!-"

But they had a plan, even though Rainbow being smarter than them by a ton they were one step ahead.

They went over to their friend who was in their household and asked him "Hey, Lu' could you cut off the ropes?" Their friend raising an eyebrow at the request but complying and taking a sword from his inventory and cutting them free from their metaphorical cage.

The avian smiled and waved him goodbye before using their wings to fly off the ground and up into the sky.

They grew so excited that they began to fly at a random direction and not long they had reached an ocean.

They did a lot of tricks in the sky, loop-di-loops, cartwhelling, anything you could imagine!

They flew straight up to the sky closing their eyes so they don't go blind and opening them as they pencil dived to the waves.

They stopped themself before they hit the ocean and continued to fly, the wind going through their hair and ruffling up their wings as the sun caused a glisten in not only the waves but their wings too.

They breath in deeply and took note of the salt mist that surrounded their wings and they felt free again.

They felt alive, they felt like they can finally thrive once again.

They flew up trying to do a trick as they cover their eyes to not be blinded by the sun.

They did a loop-di loop before making a rough landing on a mountain side.

They hovered down a bit and tried to climb the mountain side successfully as they sat on the mountain side.

They got up and cleaned themself before breathing in deeply and flying straight up, they were going to do this trick and they felt confidence rush through their body.

They saw birds and flew past them straight up, the birds giving them the reassurance that they were pretty high up. And then disaster struck.

As they flew up their wings suddenly became torn and they start to slow down and fall to the waves.

This happened so fast that the air in their lungs literally got knocked out.

They touched their wings and they felt painfully hot, so hot in fact, that their brain couldn't process it quickly.

They looked straight forward and saw the sun, once tempting, tantalizing, was now a golden fist hurling them towards the sea.

They covered their eyes from how bright it is as the wind picks up and it felt sharp.

The wind piercing them painfully as they felt tears run down their face.

They plummeted down to the unforgiving, glistening, turquoise sea.

As they took their last breath they finally impacted with the water and their back felt excrutiantly painful and their vision blurring.
