i grumbled as i heard the alarm go off. i check the time and it's 6:15 as always, great. i stumble out of bed to say good morning to my mom, but weirdly she's still asleep. i went to the kitchen and checked the calendar. it's monday, so why haven't my friends spammed the group chat with weird shit in the morning like always?

i put my phone down but couldn't sleep. i decided i was gonna get ready at 6 in the morning for no reason. also i want starbucks so it's better anyway. after getting my outfit i put on my shoes and went out the front door. i was blessed with living right across to a starbucks. when i went inside i noticed a boy. a cute boy? he was doing something on his computer, looks like he was reading. that's weird, all the boys here are usually not the best looking style wise. maybe he's new. this city is rather small anyway. i wanted to talk to him but i don't think i could keep a conversation going. i slipped on my earbuds and played diet mountain dew by lana del rey. i ordered my drink and sat down. i pulled my favorite book out of my tote bag that i brought alone and enjoyed my drink. what a way to start the morning.
when i finished my drink, i got up to throw away my cup and walk back home but accidentally bumped into someone. "𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙩,𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙮" when i heard the voice of someone seeming my age i looked up and it was him. the boy from earlier. we stood there for a few awkward seconds before i finally spoke up.
