Chapter 21: Chunin Exams

YEAR 78
KONOHAGAKURE VILLAGE
WYNTER'S POV:

Soon the Chunin exams would be upon us. The Hokage called us to his office to discuss the exams. When we arrived he mentioned it would have to be just the 3 of us in the exams. We could not participate as a team with Team 7. Jordan and Natasha also could not be in the Forest of Death with us. They did not like that but understood, besides we could handle it. He then told us all we need participate in was the written and the Forest. The end fight we need not. After the Forest if successful we would be Jonin rank. Though he wants to make me Kage rank if the council agrees. I smiled at him and said I would accept the rank but not a Hokage title. He agreed.
Then we talked about what was to come.
I handed him a ring.

"Wear it. Please. When what is to come happens and you do as destined you will be taken to Camelot. I have a village that was built. The Uchiha clan is there already. I saved then from Danzo's schemes. Do not worry about him. He will face his justice soon as well. Please wear it Lord Third. I would not see you fully from this world just yet. "
He nodded, "You will protect Konoha for me?"
I nodded, "I will. There will be rough times and a disaster but the will of Fire is strong and will survive."
He nodded and put the ring on.

We left soon after and returned home. Naruto was out at the moment but Sasuke was home. We sat down together. "Are you sure you still wish to do this Sasuke? I know the Homage gave his approval and I have the proof letter in case anything happens.."
He stopped me and cupped my cheeks, "It is the only way to have fate be met. It is the only way to right wrongs. It is what is needed for the war to come. Besides we four will still be in touch. Nothing can fully take us from one another. "
I nodded then asked, "May I at least mark and bless you so I know you are safe and protected no matter what? It will also ensure the curse mark does not control you nor could Orochimaru."
He thought about it and looked to Nik and Damon they nodded to him in reassurance. He nodded in agreement. So he was blessed and marked. He was a combination of Hawk Tengu and Naga.

The next day all of us were told of the exams by Kakashi and that we would be competing against one another as teams. Sakura wanted a lunch date after. We walked away. As we walked around we came upon the AMD and leaf face off.

I stepped forward to Gaara and bowed to him slightly.
"Greetings Gaara. I am Wynter Black-Mikaelson, Head of Clan Genshi Tsuki. It is an honor to meet you."
He seemed shocked, but what shocked him more was Shukaku was silent and relaxed around me, almost happy. All the tailed beasts would be that way.
He bowed back to me. "The honor is the Sands"
We all parted ways then.

The next day was the first exam. We were among the first there. We made it past the genjutsu with ease and tok our seats. Soon the others entered.

rolled my eyes at them. Why must boys constantly fight.

Kabuto then started telling about everyone with his cards.

Sakura asked about my card and I smirked when I heard Kabuto say he had no information on Nik, Damon or I. It was a security measure I and Primal did. No documents nor memories were ever retained by spies. Only those trusted, the Hokage, Kakashi, and a very few others had knowledge of our skills and powers.
Soon the exam started and when done the rookie 9, Neji and his team, and my team all passed the exam.
The next Instructor arrived early.

We followed her to the Forest of Death. At the entrance she gave instructions and then had us all sign wavers.

When it was time we entered and the exam began.
Nik, Damon and I managed to get both scrolls in the first hour and then shadow traveled to the end point. As we had to let things play out as part of the plan, we would not interfere. When we walked in and opened the scrolls instead if Iruka or anyone else we had the Hokage and the elders council, with the exception of Danzo. They could not believe how quickly we finished. After the brief discussion and revelation of our true abilities and knowledge we were here to protect Konohagakure, and the fact we had the Fire Daimyo's support, the decision was made and agreed upon unanimously.
Nik and Damon were awarded Jonin Rank. I was granted Kage rank without the title of Hokage. I would be there if need until a new hokage was chosen only. This would be know by the elders, the Fire Daimyo and Hokage only. To the rest of the village, except my family, I was a jonin like Nik and Damon.
Since we were done and the others were just getting started we found a place in the temple and set up a tent to relax. We used a viewing mirror to watch over Sasuke and Naruto.

When the Exam was finally over after nearly 3 days we all stood to listen.

As the said there were too many and they would need a preliminary fight and that those who wished to quit should do so, Nik, Damon and I stepped forward.
"As it is pointless for us to continue we will remove ourselves Hokage Sama." We bowed and went to the stairs to where Kakashi, Jordan and Natasha were waiting. Nat hugged me and whispered how proud she was of us.
When the matches were decided Naruto came and asked why it was pointless for us to continue. We explained we were already made Jonin when we finished the last test. Yeah the rookie 9 and Neji's team as well as anyone around were shocked.
The fights then took place.

When done we went and celebrated and visited Lee before finding our rest.
