Kaz

Kaz wasn't thinking straight when he had told Soheila she could come with him and his crows across The Fold. Seeing her again had changed something in him, and he decided that he couldn't lose her again. Not like he did last time.

He thought about this as he headed down to the bar, grabbing the closest shot to him and downing it. The reality quickly hit him.

She was coming with him, and he had to protect her. He knew she could protect herself just fine, but he also knew she didn't know the dangers of being with him. Or what could happen to the both of them if they were caught.

Jesper pulled him out of his thoughts quickly, "You all right boss?" He asked.

"No." Kaz stated.

"I've been warned off the job." He continued.

"By who?" Jesper asked. Kaz rolled his eyes at this.

"Who do you think?" He said agressivley.

"Did he remember you?" Jesper asked while Kaz looked at his pocket watch, 5 hours left.

"If he had I'd be dead." He stated.

When he looked up, he saw Soheila coming down the stairs, he cursed himself internally. She headed towards them, taking a shot from the bar and drinking it.

"Yeah but were off the job now right?" Jesper asked hopefully.

"Never make descisions oit of fear, Jesper. Only out of spite." Kaz said, turning away from the bar as Soheila walked up to them.

"Well, greed always worked for me," Jesper joked.

"Go guard the door." He said, and as jesper left, he motioned to soheila, once he had her attention, he pointed out a woman counting moneh.

"So?" Soheila asked him, not on board with the plan.
