Hisashi's POV

He didn't know where he was, it felt like he was surrounded by red for as far as he could see and it was wrong, it felt a wrong. It felt like it was in a sickness, a growth of darkness that he wasn't sure had a cure. He was turned around, wondering if something had happened after he had stepped in Izuku's room at the base, he couldn't remember anything after entering the room.

It was a blank slate, like someone had wiped his mind clean and he suspected it was the...Vestige that his Meta-Ability was giving him information about. He still didn't know exactly what a Vestige was or how it had an impact on his life, but he just ignored that for now.

"Ah, if it isn't the sweet, pathetic, and kind Hisashi." A voice drawled from behind him and he turned around in surprise, to see someone nearly identical to him." I shouldn't be surprised this happened, you are smart if nothing else. Tying your life force and Meta-Ability to your son was a smart plan, but one that will fail, as soon as I get rid of the wretched bond...your precious boy will be killed."

Bond? Tying his life force and Quirk to Izuku? What the hell was his copy talking about, not to mention Izuku is most likely biologically his son, but it was obvious to anyone with half a brain cell that he was Yoichi's son. In terms of familial bonds, he was the Uncle and Yoichi was the father, didn't this copy know that?

"He's not my son, that should be obvious." Hisashi responded with a huff." He might be biologically mine, if what I suspect is true, but it's clear as day he's not my son...he's my Nephew."

"Aww, your sentimentality is clouding your decision making, Hisashi Shigaraki." The copy purred, looking torn between amusement and irritation." Regardless of what you think, you won't be around for much longer...once I finish assimilating your life force into myself, you'll cease to exist."

Hisashi's blood ran cold, taking a step back as he realized with a start what the man was intending to do. He couldn't let this happen though, it would mean his brother would be in danger. The mere thought of his little brother being in danger made something in him snap, his eyes flashed and he lunged forward without a single moment of hesitation.

He would kill this copy, for even suggesting the idea of hurting his brother.

Moeta's POV

Moeta was feeling conflicted, they had gotten Yoichi back nearly an hour ago and he was on the verge of succumbing to hypothermia, it had been scary to see Yoichi so unwell. His lover was such a strong spirit, seeing him so sluggish and barely moving was honestly terrifying and it was clear Sokka felt similar to him.

That being said, the unconscious form of Shigaraki was causing him to be torn between his duty to the Resistance and his knowledge that Shigaraki had been able to tell something was wrong, saving said resistance. If Shigaraki hadn't realized that his memories had been sealed into a different person entirely, Moeta had no doubt that he and Sokka, along with the rest of the base would be dead right now.

It presented an issue, could he risk trying to save Shigaraki from his own Quirk or should end this once and for all, perhaps even settling down with Yoichi, Sokka, and Izuku.

He was on watch, Shigaraki chained to the bed tightly and he had Quirk suppressing cuffs on once more. He also had an IV in his arm, he was sick and despite regaining color since arriving back, it was clear that something at the base was causing this reaction. Something he didn't know, he didn't even know what was keeping the man from leaving the base.
