Fawntonya stared out her window in her new room. She knew that her father really hated her now.

She had suspected before, but now she knew for sure.

He wanted her to be away from him and his life. She knew that. She always had known that after her mother died, but she didn't think that he would really try to get her as far away as he didBut she had never accepted it until now.

The attic is the only option. That is your new living space. I don't care what you do with it, just don't talk to me about it. He had said. And she understood his meaning. He wanted nothing to do with her.

She looked around the attic and smirked. It wasn't really that bad, it was a very cozy room, and it was one of the biggest rooms in the entire mansion. She looked up at the huge dome roof. At least she could still fly in here without knocking things down, because the ceiling was so high. She heard voices on the stairs, and she listened intently.

"The poor little dear, being put up here in the attic all by herself. I don't care if she is Reanian or not, she doesn't deserve this kind of treatment!" one servant said to the other.

"I don't think it was right of Lord Kiton. She is much to young to take on a burden like her mothers death - it wasn't even her fault!" the other responded. They knocked on the door.

"Come in." Fawntonya quietly answered. They came in cheerfully and gave her a tray with her lunch on it - she was no longer allowed to eat in the dinning room - and they began asking her questions about how she wanted to arrange her room.

Fawntonya just sat there, staring at the food until they left her alone.

"Poor little girl.....it really wasn't her fault." one of them said on the stairs.

"Yes it was." Fawntonya whispered into the silence.
