Chapter 1: High School

Charles Xavier was walking down the hall at school with his girlfriend. Her name was Raven she was the most beautiful person he had ever met in his life and Raven thought he was the most kind hearted man in the world. They had been dating for a while about 2 years now. They are almost done with their senior year. The bell rings and they have to go to their separate classes. "Bye Charles see you after school," Raven said to him. "Wait," he yelled to her as she was walking away. Charles went up to her and kissed her. "I have to go now bye," she said in a rush. Charles walked to his next class Math. When he got there he sat in the desk next to Erick his best friend. He was always the class clown and the trouble maker. No one had realized that Charles, Erick or Raven had a mutation. Charles can do many things with his mind, Erick can move metal objects, and Raven can change forms. "Hey Charlie how was that kiss," Erick joked around. "Shut up Erick," Charles said back. After they walked to lunch together. They always had trouble finding a table because they were kind of the outcasts. On the other hand though Charles' stepbrother Cain had all the girls sitting at his table. He worked out at the gym all the time. Cain was always mean to Charles and Cain and his father beat Charles. So they picked an isolated table and sat there. Raven soon came over and sat by them. They ate their lunch while laughing at each other and making jokes. Charles got up to go dump his tray when Cain put out his leg and Charles go food all over him. Erick got up and walked straight to Cain. "Why'd you do that to my friend," he asked angrily. Cain's faced scrunched up and he got mad. "Why are you talking to me loser," Cain said and pushed over Erick. Erick lifted up his hand and all the silver ware in the cafeteria went straight at Cain. Everyone started laughing and they made a run for it. "Woah how did you do that," Charles asked Erick. "Sometimes I just can't control it I'm such a weirdo," Erick said embarrassed. "Don't be embarrassed Erick I have a secret too," Charles said and read his mind. "Your thinking of ending your life why would you do that your my best friend," Charles said to him. After school Raven and Charles went on their date to the hill and Erick went to his home. The club, that's where he lives because he lost his parents in war and no one cared about him. He had a bunch of girlfriends though, but he never loved them. So he would go commit crimes and drink all day when he didn't have school. Erick hated being called a psychopath. He did have one friend in life though. He was a regular at the club. They called him Toad because of his long tongue and his scaled skin. He was a high school drop out, but Erick found him quite amusing. Erick lates down on his bed and fell asleep.
