Chapter 7

No One's POV:

Blake chews on her pen anxiously and she stares at the clock on the wall. "Blake, Blake," she jerks slightly and turns to her left seeing Emmett's the one who called her.

"Huh? What?" She questions slightly confused as he gives her a concerned look.

   "Are you alright? You look tense," he responds looking at her in concern making Blake clear her throat and nod.

"Uh yeah. Just worried about my dad is all. He's out of town at Mason County to help them out. A security got attacked by an animal. It has me on edge because our dad's out there," she explains not really lying since it is the truth.

Emmett slowly nods and gives her a comforting smile. "Don't worry, Blake. Your pop's the Chief, he's going to be ok," he reassures her making Blake give him a small smile.

'I hope you're right' she thinks turning her attention back to the clock, watching it tick slowly. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. RING!

  Blake shoves her books back in her bag before booking it out of the classroom leaving Emmett staring after her in confusion and worry.

   She walks over to her sister and suddenly stops as she sees the guy 'Edward' talking to her twin. Her eyes narrow dangerously and she stalks over making Bella's eyes widen.

    Blake grabs ahold of his shirt and turns him around making the hair on her arms go up when she touches him. "Hey, what the hell do you think you're doing?" She questions angrily making Bella quickly hold onto her hand to try and calm her down.

   "I'm sorry?" Edward strains out swallowing roughly from being this close to Bella for so long.

   Blake let out a sarcastic laugh, "I'm talking about the way you made my sister feel on our first day, prick!" Her hold tightens on his shirt.

  "Blake, Blake, come on. Not today. This isn't the place for this. We gotta go remember? Dad, asked us to pick him up dinner," Bella quickly tells her giving a pointed look as Blake turns her head to look at her.

    She turns back to Edward with a clenched jaw. "You got lucky that we have to go or else I would've messed up your face, prick," she angrily tells him and pushes him back making him go stumbling back a little.

He rights himself and stares at the twins in suspicion since he felt the strength behind the push. Regular humans wouldn't be able to push their kind that easily.

Blake's POV:

Bella pulls me towards the truck lecturing me which has me in disbelief. "God you're so stupid! We were still in school, numbnuts!" She exclaims and we stop right in front of the driver's side.

"Hey! You can't call me that just because I haven't gotten laid lately! I know they're numb. Also what kind of big sister would I be if I didn't threaten Dickward for how he made my baby sister feel on the first day," I respond pointing at her with a glare making her scoff in disgust and slap my shoulder.

"You're gross, Blake. Also he sorta apologized already," she tells me making me raise an eyebrow at her then look towards the Cullens where Emmett and Jasper are laughing a little while Alice and Rosalie are shaking their heads.

As for Dickward he's just staring at us with that weird stare so I flip him off with a glare. I feel a slap on my stomach making me jump a little from the unexpected motion.

"Stop, stupid," Bella laughs a little making me grin down at her before our faces turn into horror as tires screech loudly.

I turn my head in time seeing Tyler's van coming straight for us. Bella ends up slipping and falling. "Bella!" I cover her body with mine and hold my hand out grabbing ahold of Tyler's tire.
