Welcome to a world of the people who care and those that don't. And guess what? I'm right in the middle. Hi Alice here. And get comfortable because you will be here a while. I go to Jefferson High school. And this is my story.
I moved here in the beginning of the school year. I moved from Chicago. Chicago to New York is like a billion miles away. Now friends for miles. So if your alone, and have no one to talk to, you kind of feel like a freak.
"Come on!" Mom said " Your going to be late for school!"." Mom! I'm not going!" I said. "What do you mean your not going? It's your first day at your new school!" Mom asked. "Butts!" I replied." Fine" I agreed. I walked to school. Unfortunately it started raining halfway there. When I got to school, my hands were so wet that I couldn't open my locker. "So what, all my books are in my backpack anyway" I thought. So I made my way to class, dripping wet. I turned the corner and bumped into some guy. He said "Hey! Watch it!". Bang. My new nemeses. Having the best day already. Anyway, I turned another corner and went into the class room. I sit down in the seat beside a girl who is picking her nose. "Gross! Her finger is like half way up her nose!" I thought. I through up in my mouth. To take my attention away from the miner to my left, I looked forward to see what was on the board. It was all in French." Dang it! Wrong class." I whispered under my breath. I snuck out of the classroom and into the right class, which was across the hall. The only seat left had bubblegum on the seat. "No thank you." I said to myself. I took a piece of paper and put it on the gum, then sat down. I felt the "squish" under me. The people behind me were laughing. I turn around and slap the boy behind me in the face. He looked at me, stuned. " Ok? That was weird. Why is my face so cold?" He said. I was so confused. "Cold?" I said. " Ya. What was that?" He said. " I don't know." I said. "Maybe I got you wet with rain water." I said. "Rain water?" He said. " What are you talking about? It looks like you were walking in the snow!"
