Harry's POV

I'm walking back to my Common room, tears threatening to run down my face. Why do I feel so worried? What am I worried about? What are Hermione and Ron going to say? What will happen tonight?

I'm not sure, in the slightest. Then my mind turns to how I woke up this morning. I feel my cheeks turning bright scarlet. In the back of my mind, I really wish I didn't have to get up.

I get back to the Common room, and see Hermione sitting on one of the couches. She looks up from her book, and walks over to me. She has a worried look on her face, what's that about?

"Harry, where were you? You didn't come back after dinner. You had Ronald and I worried sick."

"Someone came to the bathroom and helped me, then I fell asleep and they left."

"That isn't the whole story Harry, I know it. Never mind that, who helped you?"

"They told me not to say."

"It was Malfoy, wasn't it?"

"Yes.. Please don't hurt him."

"I won't, but I can't promise the same thing for Ronald, if he finds out. Now tell me what really happened."

I start to explain, and I can see the relief washing over her face.

"Oh Harry, I'm just glad he didn't hurt you. I'm positive he returns your feelings, just the same. The signs are clear."

"But what if-"

"If you're going to mention something about Voldemort, remember he's dead. You killed him. If I were you, I would still be cautious. But after all this rivalry, it's great you decided to be friends."

I hear a creak of steps. I turn my head to see Ron coming out of our dormitory.

"What are you guys talking about? Who's your new friend, Harry?"

"It's nothing, Ron." Hermione and I reply in sync.

"Okay.. If you say so. I'm hungry."

"Of course you are, Ronald. You could eat all the food in the world and you would still be hungry." Hermione rolled her eyes.

Ron's eyes are widening, I can see the cogs turning in his mind as processes the fact that I have returned. And I'm always told I'm slow and oblivious.

"Wait, Harry!? Where did you come from!? When did you get back!? I-"

I bet he could've continued on and on, saying much more, but now Hermione is cutting him off.

"Leave him be, Ron. He is most definitely tired. He will probably answer your questions later, let him rest."

"Alright, sorry Harry."

"It's alright."

I turn and go up to my own bed to rest. When I lay down, it's very cold. It was much warmer when Draco was there. I'm sure that the back of my mind is going, "I want Draco back." For the record, he was definitely warmer than this.

I close my eyes, and quickly start to fall asleep.

I wake up to Hermione trying to me up to go to lunch, a bit later. I get up, unwillingly.

I sit down, and space out. Staring into what seems like nothing. For a bit, I don't even realize I'm just sitting there, staring at the food that suddenly appeared on my plate.

"Harry? You okay mate?" Ron asks, and I snap back to reality.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Just thinking about something." I lie. I can't even remember if I was thinking about anything.

"You better eat before your food gets too cold." Hermione points out nervously.

"I will, 'Mione."

I finally look up, and see a worried Draco staring at me. I smile, nodding assuringly,  in an attempt to let him know I'm okay.

He smiles back at me, nodding in response, hopefully assured.

He looks back down and continues eating. I look down as well, and start to eat. I look up after a few minutes, and see Hermione smiling.

I'm not exactly sure why, and she seems to realize it,  so she says it.

"I'm glad to see you finally starting to take care of yourself, Harry."

I smile at her. I don't like feeling hungry. I'm mainly eating because Draco wants me too. No one else, and I find that odd. But I am doing it for her, too.

I finish and leave the Great Hall. I now hear footsteps behind me, so I turn.

I start to grin as I see Draco.

"Thank you, Harry."

"For?"

"For not starving yourself. Starving yourself isn't good for your health and you know it. I know you had a terrible past, but I want you to feel safe here. I want you to know that."

I start to tear up at his words, and I think he can tell, because he walks up close to me and hugs me, chuckling.

"Come on Potter, don't be so sensitive, they are just words."

"I can't help it, I'm not used to you being sweet." I hug him in return.

"Remember, Potter, ROR after you finish dinner. I'll be waiting. You better eat."

"I will, Draco I will." I can't help but giggle a tad bit.

"Alright, see you later, Potter." He farewells.

I feel my face go pink as I smile to myself. His hugs are comforting, and very warm.

I always want to be in his embrace.

Always.
