Gabriella's POV:

As I rested on my mattress thinking when someone opened the door to the building and I shot up looking over at the other side of the cell.

Matteo walks in with keys in his and he was.... Smiling?

Odd.

"What's up? " I asked getting up and walking over to the cell bars but not touching them.

"Something awesome-" he trials off.

"You'll be living at one of the cottage in the packs territory... "

But before he could say anything I spoke up interrupting him.

"You know I've been thinking about it since Eli talked to me, I'll be apart of your pack member if it's what... "

And now it's his time to interrupt me.

"Why do you think I came and holding these keys? " he asked frustrated. "You can stay in the cottage without being a member, I don't wanna force anything into you. " he added.

I looked at him surprised, where's the bossy Matteo who wouldn't take no for an answer?!

"Uhh... Are you sure? " I asked still in confusion.

He didn't answer but opened the cell and walked into it facing me.

He hold my hands gently which caused charges of electricity to surge through me, and we were walking out of the building in minutes.

"I said you're staying, don't ask questions. " he said.

I felt butterflies when he kept holding me as we walk down the cobble ground.

Fuck you mate bond!!

We reached a huge cottage with it's whole look Zen, I love it.

Wooden materials were use to make the building structure and the exterior was to die for.

Well literally not me to die for it but you know, was to die for.

There was a cobble pathway at the corner of the fence surrounding the cottage leading to a garden, possibly.

We entered with him opening the doors with the keys in his hands and I loved the inside at first sight.

I was still in my thought that I didn't know Matteo was staring at me and I can see a slight emotion of admiration in his eyes.

I looked up at him and his gazed broke from me.

"What? " I asked.

He cleared his throat and shook he head saying nothing.

I shrugged it off and squealed at my new place.

"I get to stay here... Alone?! " I asked jumping up and down.

He chuckled softly and I swear I almost died cause of how good his smile was.

He even has dimples!

"You have a pretty smile. " I said poking his face.

He didn't move or avert his gaze from me.

"And you look cute when you are happy. " he said and continued walking into the house pretending like nothing ever happened.

What just happened?!!

Why did he get all 'I love my mate' with me?!

I followed he behind like a lost puppy and he gave me a tour of the whole cottage.

"If you need anything just call me, here. " he said and handed me a new phone.

Wait does this mean I can finally talk to Lynne and Bla... No am not talking to Blake, he's a back stabber.

I shrieked and before I knew what I was doing I hugged him.

"Wait why did you get me this? " I asked confused.

But then I retraced what I just did and backed up.

"I just figured you might be bored so I got you one, but I might have installed a tracker inside. " he said sheepishly and run his hand through his already messy hair.

"Okay thanks. " I said.

Gosh Gabby, now he must think I'm an attention seeker!!

"I'll be leaving, if you need anything just call me. " he said holding the door knob.

I nodded and before I could register anything my mouth went asking "I wanna have dinner for my new home and not staying in that crapped up cell... So can you please call your sister in when you go out? "

"Umm sure. " he said and left.

I feel like he's trying to warm up to me?

'And I think it's working. ' Ashley said.

No it's not, I'll still stick to my plan running away after gaining his trust then reject him.

'Can't you just give the dude one chance, maybe he's just whipped from his past. ' She begs.

I know you want to give him another chance Ashley but I just... Can't.
