"Looks like I need to have a talk with Jayoung" said Jungwon, slowly getting up.

Sunghoon stayed right where he was and watched Jungwon walk away. He waited for his friend to have almost reached the house before sighing and getting up.

He knew what he had to do.

Somehow, he had always known.

But something had been holding him back for... weeks? Sunghoon didn't really know for how long, but he was sure it was a while.

He turned around, showing his back to the mansion and walked between the trees, going deeper and deeper in the forest.

~

It seemed to Sunghoon that he had been walking for at least an hour, however, every time he looked back, he could see the shape of the mansion still at the same size.
He hadn't succeeded in walking away.

So my theory is true
We can't leave

She's keeping us here on purpose

"Jayoung, show yourself already" he said out loud.

Silence followed his statement, but Sunghoon knew she was there. She had to be.

"Congratulations"

A slow clap on Sunghoon's left guided his eyes until they landed on her.

"I had a hunch you'd be the difficult one when we met. I guess I was right" she claimed.

Sunghoon didn't reply just yet. He had to play his cards right.

"What's your price?" he asked calmly as she walked closer.
"My price?" she repeated. "What do you mean?"
"It's called a trade" replied Sunghoon. "You tell me your price, I pay it and in exchange you let us free."

She laughed out loud for a few seconds before getting serious again.

"There's nothing to trade" she replied in a chuckle. "At least nothing you can offer me."
"Everyone has a price" said Sunghoon with confidence.

She stopped to think.

"Because well, let's be honest, hasn't it gotten boring by now?" he added. "We're living the same day over and over again..."

She stayed silent.

"I mean, at least we get to forget about it each night, but you, you know everything don't you?" Sunghoon continued. "I know you've been trying to get something out of us. Tell me what it is."

"Like you would be able to get it for me" she said.
"Why don't you try me?" asked Sunghoon.

I'm so close...
I need to convince her.

"What do you have to loose?" he added. "If I can't help you you'll hive me a headache and erase my memories tonight right?"
"You're clever" she said with a smirk. "But I already knew that. It's the third time you try convincing me."

The third?
If only I could remember what I did wrong...

"But just for the game's sake, let's play" she finally agreed. "I want Jungwon."
"Jungwon?" asked Sunghoon. "Want?"
"Yes" she said. "I love him."

Oh no you don't.
Loving isn't about possessing.
Loving is about being selfless.

But let's not tell her that

"Very well" he said. "And what seems to be the problem?"

Except for the fact that he loves Jay I guess.

"Jay is in the way" she said. "But there's no way I can take him out of the equation, at least not here."
"What does that mean?" he asked.
"When I cast the spell on you, it worked as a group spell. All of you are Connected" she said.
"So you want to separate us so you can get Jungwon for yourself?" he asked.

Keep her talking Hoon. The more she talks, the more she will be likely to reveal something to use against her.

"Wait..." she looked away for a second. "You're... right... If I could.. That could work"

She started mumbling and Sunghoon tried as hard as he could to understand what she was saying, to no avail.

"But not here..." she added, before looking straight into Sunghoon's eyes.

"Aren't you a smart one" she said out loud. "You gave me an idea."
"What idea?" replied Sunghoon.
"Well, I need to separate you all" she replied, as if it was obvious.
"Can you?" added Sunghoon.

Each piece of information she gave him was extremely important. He needed to gather everything he could.

"I'd have to change timelines again" she said, nodding at him.

Timelines? Again?

So we really aren't from here.

..

So where do we come from?

Sunghoon shook his head, he couldn't get lost in that question just now.

"I wonder if it could work.." she added in a whisper.

Okay, think quickly...

She said the spell was cast on us as a group, so normally, if she tried to changes timelines for Jungwon, we should change them as well, right?

That could work.
I convince her to just do it, and then we escape her. At least we won't be locked in this mansion again.

But what if I'm wrong? What if she simply takes Jungwon away from us? From Jay?

Sunghoon sighed.

Ultimately, he took a decision, not knowing if he was right to do so.
He just knew he had to do something, anything.

"It could I think" said Sunghoon.
"Why are you helping me anyway?" she asked, looking at him.
"I just want out of this place" replied Sunghoon, not lying at all.

Apparently the answer satisfied her enough, as she didn't insist.

"So, I'll just rearrange a new timeline and then I can be with Jungwon" she said.
"Will the rest of us be free?" asked Sunghoon.
"I guess" she replied, uninterested by the fate of the other six boys.

Yep, change timelines so we won't be held down in here, we just will need to save Jungwon and then we will be free.

That should be easy enough.

"You know what?" she said. "Let's do this, now."
"Now?" asked Sunghoon in panic. "What do you me-me.."

And before he could finish his sentence, Sunghoon had fallen on the ground.
The last thing he heard before fainting were Jayoung's terrifying whispers all around him.
