Corki POV
Hi, I'm Corki, a girl from China.
My father is the fourth richest man on Earth. He owns a company with his last name on it, 'Chang'. I am very intelligent and innocent. My father is driving me right now to a boarding school in Toronto, Canada with the word 'prep' in it. When we get there, he runs his fingers through my hair.
"I love you, bye" papa said, I nodded to papa, and kissed his cheek and he kissed mine. I shut the car door, but stop in my tracks. All my blood rushes to my head. I feel like I'm going to faint....ah! I fall on the car door. Papa opens the door hastily, and pushes me in.
"Shh its okay...." he coos, rubbing my head, "be brave". I nod, and stand up for real this time, only to hit my head on the roof of the car. I open the door, and step out. I wave goodbye as he drives back to China. I will tell nobody that my papa is rich, I don't want anyone befriending me only for my rich dad. My mom died though....so....yeah. I walk in to the principals office.
"Hello Ms. Chang," she greets me, her pink lips curving into a smile. She is african and very beautiful. I sit down next to a girl with crazy hair that's cool, and one with black hair and red highlights.
"Hi!" the crazy haired girl chirps a little too happily, "I am Sun Hi! My last names song! I love music, acting, and being the center of attention. I am beautiful and can't live without my phone!". TMI I thought, but just smiled, shaking her hand.
"And I'm Jodi. My last name is Mappa. I love designing and art. I am actually really good at it! Oh, sorry about Sun Hi. She is a little weird," Jodi explains as I shake her hand, "what about you?".
"Oh me? Thanks for asking. I am a girl from China and um..." I stop, I need to lie! I hate lying, but its for good this time! "My dad brought me here because this is where my mom lives and well they divorced?" I lie sounding unsure. I don't even have a mom!
"Okay, you guys seem like good friends! You can dorm together!" the principal explains, "by the way, I'm Principal Diona, now here's your dorm number". Sung Hi grabs the paper and giggles.
We go to the dorm and Sun Hi jumps on the last bed and immediately puts her blue bed sheet's on it. I pick the bed in the middle and put my orange and red bed sheet's on it. Jodi chooses the last bed that is left and puts her orange, pink, and whatever colored bed sheet's on it, and immediately starts drawing her design notebook.
"Wait-we are all new, and you're just going to draw? Not tour around the darn school! I mean, god, its beautiful!" I exclaim. Jodi chuckles while Sun Hi giggles. Jodi puts her art supplies and notebook down, and picks up a needle and a turquoise piece of thread.
"If you wan't to check out this whole school so badly, why don't you? Sun Hi and I will stay here," Jodi explained, standing up to get her clothes dummy thingy. I roll my eyes and fold my arms.
"God," I mumble chuckling, "when did I become the fun one?" I scoff, rolling my eyes playfully, then spinning around whipping my hair. I walk out my shoes clacking on the floor.
"Wow," I said in awe, barely getting a whisper out, "I love this school! The last thing to see is the gymnasium/acting room!". I spin around on my shoes, and head towards the gym/acting room.
I step in as the smell of sweat and body odor from buys blows up my nose as I scrunch it and pinch it with my fingers. "Gross," I mumble walking to the bleachers. I take a seat, and removed my pinch positioned fingers from my nose.
"Hey new kid," a raspy voice whispers in my ear attractively. I jump and squeal and glare. I turn around to face the kid and my jaw drops and my eyes widen. Oh...my...god! Hes so cute! STOP IT CORKI! EDUCATION! EDUCATION! EDUCATION!
"Hi, I'm Corki Chang. I'm from China. I'm new here, you?" I ask putting out my hand for him to shake and flashing a smile. He chuckles and shakes my hand and sits down next to me.
"I'm Jared. Jock. Handsome. Funny. Every girl's dream boy," he says, putting his chin up, "I mean look at this beautiful chin!". I chuckle and nod. Self centered much?
"Well..." I awkwardly say, "I better go. I feel sleepy," I lie. My eyes move left to right and I clutch my right arm nervously. I am and never was a good liar. I hate lying. It makes me feel so guilty!
"At 3:00 P.M.?" Jared asks doing a chuckle that made my heart flutter. I blushed and silently stood up and walked out the door hitting my head on door.
"Are you okay? You noticed that window...right?" he asks holding in an obvious laugh. I nod and go back to the dorm.
