The board game of "Go" is an intricate, two-person game in which stones are placed upon a grid-like board, the colors of the stones either black or white. There is approximately 10⁷⁶¹ ways to approach the game, but the overall objective is to end with one opponent's stones covering more surface area than the other's along the board. Within Go, a move of paramount importance can be made with the intention of turning the game around. This sweeping strategy is called The Divine Move.
Stiles Stilinski has been pining after Lydia Martin since the third grade, and even more so now that the two have discovered the world is nothing like how they pictured it should be. The summer following sophomore year, Lydia is overcome with grief of her best friend-Allison Argent-'s death, and Stiles devotes the upcoming eighty-nine days to relieve her desolation.
Despite everything, this is not a love story. This is a story of how a boy plots his sweeping strategy, his Divine Move.

Some flashbacks that occur within the fiction will have taken place in previous seasons. Please do not read The Divine Move unless you are somewhat familiar with the original story, otherwise you will be lost.
