Chapter Seven - A New Breed Of Nomu

After retrieving Doctor Skaal's research and gained Gigantomachia as a servant, the Shadow Collective returned to Doctor Skaal's lab to hand him his research. The mad Merb scientist chuckled at the success of the Shadow Collective.

Skaal: An...exceptional performance. I can see why All For One chose you to be his successor, Tomura Shigaraki.

Shigaraki: I will inherit All For One's kingdom. Even if I have to burn the entire world to ashes to do so.

Skaal: You have drive, conviction and ambition: all traits that All For One values greatly.

With that, Doctor Skaal resumed his research on creating the High End Nomu. Using the Nightcrawlers as test subjects, Doctor Skaal slowly perfected the High End Nomu. As Doctor Skaal continued his experiments, he spoke about the origins of the Nomu.

Skaal: Do you know how the Nomu first came to be? They started out as Talons who volunteered for....genetic enhancements. Through extensive genetic modifications, those Talons were transformed into the first generation of Nomu. While strong and powerful, they were nothing more than lumbering brutes acting out of primal instincts. Now with the DNA of the Nightcrawlers, the Nomu have grown. No longer are they lumbering brutes driven by primal instincts. Now they are powerful soldiers ready to follow the will of All For One.

As Skaal finishes creating the first High End Nomu, the Shadow Collective watched as the High End Nomu took it's first steps. The Nomu Nomu had a large, muscular build and a comparatively long neck, which has several large vertebrae jutting out of it. His skin is dark purple/black and his head was shrouded in darkness by a hood of skin, with yellow eyes that resemble Kurogiri's as the only facial feature under it. The muscles on his neck and shoulders were left exposed.

Shigaraki: Who are you?

High End Nomu: Hood....my name....is Hood....

Muscular: What a fucking freakshow....

Twice: He's hideous! HE SPEAKS! Still hideous!

Shigaraki slowly approaches Hood. Hood towered over Shigaraki. Despite this, Shigaraki showed no fear.

Shigaraki: Who do you serve?

As Shigaraki asked Hood that question, the High End Nomu was silent for a moment. After a moment, Hood speaks.

Hood: I serve All For One.....

Shigaraki smirks as Hood proclaims his loyalty to All For One. Skaal smiles upon the success of the High End Nomu. Skaal was filled with pride by what he had just witnessed. He gazed upon Hood with pride in his eyes.

Skaal: Beautiful. You have surpassed all my expectations! My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair! The lone and level sands stretch far away. Nothing beside remains. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare the lone and level sands stretch far away.

As Skaal marveled at Hood, Shigaraki did the same.

Kurogiri: You have done well, Doctor Skaal. All For One would be proud of your recent endeavors.

Skaal: It brings me great pride knowing that All For One and his allies hold such high regards to my work.

Shigaraki: How much more can you make?

Skaal: As much as you need. It will take some time, but I can assure you that the High End Nomu will serve you greatly.

As Skaal said that, Shigaraki smiled at the progress he has made in his quest to take control of the Cyclonian Empire in All For One's name. He had expanded the Shadow Collective and now was on the verge of having an army of High End Nomu at his disposal. But his real goal was killing All Might and all that he had built. It didn't matter if it would take years to do so. In Shigaraki's mind, there was no line he wouldn't cross in pursuit of his goals.

Shigaraki: Violence for the sake of others makes it admirable. In the end, the Sky Knights are just a tool for violence, made to keep us down and violence only breeds violence. Yeah, it'd be All Might. I feel like I really want to completely crush this society, where trash like that gets worshipped. Now we're gonna burn down this society. All the trash that gets worshipped will be reduced to ashes before our very hands. They see us as monsters? Fine. We'll show them just how dangerous these monsters are. It is time for them to awake the ones who sent us screaming into oblivion, and who now lie sleeping. Let's drag them out of bed by the hair, and remind them of what we are! We will remind them of what it feels like to live in fear. We will remind them of the sound our boots make against their throats. We will remind them that there are more things between Heaven and Hell than are dreamt of in their philosophy. And when this world is burned, we will rule what remains. The Sky Knights will be no more and all the chains that bind us will be broken. Shadow Collective, let's bring them Hell....

With that, the Shadow Collective were ready for war. With the High End Nomu, Shigaraki now had the means to continue All For One's plans for Atmos. But before he could unleash Hell on Atmos, Shigaraki first had to deal with the Civil War between Ravess and Snipe. He needed to end the Civil War and take control of the Cyclonian Empire. In that moment, Tomura Shigaraki was now ready to unleash Hell on Atmos in the name of All For One.
