I've been thinking about him a lot recently. We've been making shows together for barely a year now, but he just seems like the one for me...
"Tsukasa, are you ready to head to rehearsals?" Rui smiled.
"Yup!" I said grabbing my bag and getting up from my desk.
We started walking out of the school together while talking about some machines Rui should make for the upcoming show.
We met up with Nene and Emu at rehearsals. Rui went to go talk to Nene, but I didn't really think much of it.
"Tsukasa!" Emu yelled, "I heard Rui say that your gonna go on a rocket and fly in the sky for the show! Are you really gonna do that?!"
"What lies has Rui been feeding you?" I sighed setting my bag down on the bench.
"Hmmmm... None at all!" She smiled.
"Well, we should start practicing. Where did Rui and Nene go?"
Emu turned around to look for them. "Ehhh, I don't know. They were just here a second ago."
Suddenly, Rui and Nene came out from behind the stage laughing.
"There you guys are! Huh? What's so funny?" Emu asked.
Nene stopped laughing. "Oh, it was nothing."
"It was a, uh, rabbit that was laying on its back ahaha." Rui laughed.
"Anyways, we should start practicing. Today is Thursday and the show in on Saturday. We can't practice tomorrow because it'll most likely rain all day, so better to perfect the play before actually preforming the real one," I laughed.
Once everyone got ready, we started our practice. It went pretty well. No one messed up or anything. It started to get dark, so we all decided to call it a day.
"Hey Tsukasa," Rui said while walking over to me, "Want to walk together. I was gonna head to a convenience store before I head home and I didn't want to go alone, and since Nene doesn't want to, I came to ask you."
"Uhm, sure," I replied.
We started walking together to the nearest convenience store. We talked more about the upcoming show. Then it went quiet for a little bit.
"Rui, I think I like you," I said out loud.
"Eh?"
Realizing what I had just said, I tried covering it up as a joke. "Just kidding, hah. You totally fell for it!" I laughed.
"Oh, you did get me there. Your quite funny sometimes, you know." He also started laughing.
"Yea, heh."
I waited for Rui while he went into the store.
Hopefully he believed it was a joke. . .
He came out the store and after some more walking, we went our separate ways.
I got home and was welcomed by my sister Saki.
"How was practice?" She asked.
"It was great. I think our show is going to be perfect on Saturday. I mean, I am the star!" I smiled while making a pose.
She laughed. "Anyways, I'm gonna head to bed. You should to. Goodnight Tsukasa!"
"Goodnight!" Saki walked upstairs, while I went to the kitchen to grab a snack before I start doing my homework.
I walked over to my room and sat on my bed. On my phone, I scrolled through Instagram. By the time I stopped, it was already pretty late. I was also tired so instead of doing my homework, I went to sleep.
Ah, poor Tsukasa Tenma.
If only he had knew what

*BEEEEEEEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEP*
Tsukasa sat up, his alarm seeming louder than usual, and turned his head to face his alarm. He hit the button to shut it up, but that's when he realized.
"10!? IM GONNA BE SO LATE!" He yelled while quickly jumping up from his bed to get ready.
Once he finished, he rushed out the front door, forgetting his lunch, and started running to school. On his way, it started to pour. Poor Tsukasa didn't even bring an umbrella.
He did make it to school, drenched from the rain of course, and he went to his class. However, his teacher wasn't so fond of him being late. . .
"Tenma! You're late! Care to explain?" he reproached.
"I uh- fell and," Tsukasa started.
"Nevermind. Go sit down," he sighed before continuing his lecture.
Tsukasa went to his seat and set his bag down. Although he had just gotten there, Tsukasa wished this boring class would be over.
After what felt like years, the lunch bell rung. Tsukasa was relieved when he left the class. That's when he remembered, he had forgotten his lunch at home. This day can't get any worse, he thought.
Things had dried up outside, so Tsukasa decided to check if Rui and Nene, and possibly Emu, were at the rooftop. Luckily, they were all there.
"There you are Tsukasa!" Emu yelled while jumping up and down like a rabbit.
"Seems like he's finally made it," Nene said to Rui.
"Did I miss anything?" Tsukasa asked before sitting down with everyone. Emu also sat down.
"No, not really. Oh, you missed me finding out I have a veggie sandwich. You should switch lunches with me," Rui whined.
"No. Besides, I forgot my lunch today," Tsukasa mumbled.
"Oh. Do you want half of my sandwich then?" Rui offered, holding half of his sandwich out.
"No it's okay, I just grab a snack on my way home, but thank you," Tsukasa smiled.
"If you say so," Rui sighed, "Anyways, Nene and I have something to tell you guys."
"We're doing this now?" Nene muttered.
"What is it?! What is it?!" Emu shouted.
"Well," Rui smiled, pulling Nene closer to him, "we're dating!"
This is gonna be a very fun story to write so I hope you all enjoy it when the next parts are published!
