There is not much to do3 AM in the morning in a trainstation in the middel of Denmark in a city that sounds like a name you would give to your meanest cat.
If you even can call this a city, but it's hard to tell though the windows because it's dark.
You are wondering what she is doing in this so called city at 3 AM? The story starts with a the girl working 10 shifts in 9 days. She was supposed to work 11 shifts in 10 days but called in sick the last day. How would not do that? According to her boss people would keep working because they are "Sort staffed".
So she put her foot down and after work at 11 PM booked a train ticket to a city she never heard about. But it was the cheapest and the first Train that left 1 hour later. Would this spontaneous not thinking be blamed on the 10 shifts in 9 days. Probably..
But she felt trapt and just hade to go somewhere. Even if it was cheaper to wait to the morning and book a flight somewhere. She was after all now living i europ where it was possible to take a flight to a new country without problem.
As she was sitting at the station for an hour for the traine she observed all the people like her. That desired to take a train at 3 AM.
