New Beginings - A Demi Lovato and You story

The buzzing of your alarm woke you up. The only bad thing about where you live now is the fact that your new alarm clock can't play music or the radio; only alerts. Not waking up to Demi belting out some tunes first thing on a morning is going to be tough, especially since 'Heart Attack' will be out soon! Even though you can't hear your idol sing every morning, you can hear her talk...

"Sweetheart... Sweetie... Wake-wakey..." You feel a hand gently nudge your arm. You feel so tired that you almost aren't aware of your surroundings.

"Hey? Sweetie? Sunshi-"

"Demi, were you about to call me sunshine?" You say with your eyes still closed even though your mind is now fully alert.

"Hehe, maybe..." She giggles.

"Oh my gosh, Demetria. Really? Sunshine?!" You ask, still tired but in a more playful mood. You're really just messing with her now.

"Oh..." She whimpered. "Do you not like that name? I mean, I don't have to say it but look at it outside! It's glowing! I'm glowing! I just thought it fit..."

You finally opened your eyes and gazed into hers. She was right, she was glowing. "Haha, I was just messing Dems! Gotcha!" You screamed as you pulled her onto the bed with you. You held her in your arms tightly as she snuggled in.

"Happy Valentines Day." She whispered, just before gently kissing your lips.
